24/09/04 - I'm in the process of "starting" fundraising events - I'm organising a fish and chip evening for the 1st or 2nd of November, Smarties tubes will be given out soon (next week) and the guess the Sweets in the jar will begin after next weekend. Also planning a boot sale for soon (before the weather gets more adverse) But main priority this weekend is to get my letter for Trusts finished and pefect so that I can get it printed ready to send out with the leaflets next weekend. So it's all go!
23/09/04 - Got the proof back from Dad's work, and have made a few little changes, so I should have leaflets sometime next week. I'll work on the letter at the weekend, and get that sorted and printed, so that I am ready to go!
21/09/04 - PT have said my leaflet is fine, so that's going off to Dad's work. Other than that, not much happening atm, things should start moving again by the end of the week.
16/09/04 - Sent my leaflet off to Coll today, so hopefully that should be ok. My dad is asking work about printing copies of my leaflet on a colour laser printer. I'm gonna try and get the website finished by the end of next week, but at the weekend I'm off visiting universities, so I'll just have to fit it in! Got a box of Smarties tubes, will distribute them soon, and start the Guess the Sweets in the Jar competition. Phew!
12/09/04 - Have almost finished researching trusts now, I'll do the rest when I find some more time (I've almost run out!) Have however finished my leaflet, so will get that vetoed by Project asap, and then get it printed :)
10/09/04 - Researched more Trusts today. Now have a total of about 80, so with a little more research, I'll have finished that. Done 4 out of 6 pages of my leaflet. So things are getting there...
09/09/04 - I've been putting all the Trust addresses I've got so far into Excel - ready to do a mail merge if I can work out how to do it! Still got quite a few more trusts to find, but I've got more resources to get through yet! My leaflet is semi-drafted, and I'll start a letter soon.
