Please note: A few items here may be fabricated by the installer.
We caution that if you do not have experience fabricating bent tubing (fuel and hydraulic lines)
that you either seek the OEM part, or account extra money and time to the pursuit of learning to fabricate.
The same goes for the wiring harnesses. We successfully sourced many of these parts from wrecking yards in our area,
we suggest that if you have trouble finding parts you make some friends at the junkyard
Tools Required
Metric Ratchet Set (10mm to 24mm)
Metric combination wrench set (8m to 19mm)
Floor Jack
Jack Stands (2 minimum, 4 is better)
Engine hoist (commonly called a “cherry-picker")
Engine stand
Phillips screwdriver #2, #3
Standard-slot screwdriver
Wire cutters
Drain pan (the more the better)
Vise-Grip® locking pliers
Vinyl tubing and jar (brake bleeding)
Safety Glasses
Automotive gloves
Haynes/Chilton's/Factory Service Manual (you will need one of these for the wiring diagrams and questions that arise.)
Suggested Tools
Soft-faced dead-blow hammer
10mm, 17mm flare nut wrench (for brake lines and power steering lines.)
Brake bleeder kit
Small pry-bar (with screwdriver handle)
Leatherman® Tool. The handiest tool!
High wattage soldering gun and solder
Crimp Connecters (Ring Terminal, Spade Connectors, Butt Connectors)
Crimping Tool
Electrical Tape
Digital Multimeter (A Volt-Ohm meter will do in a pinch)
Bridge Clips (Alligator clips soldered on either end of a piece of wire)
