| Julia Roberts I never entirely understood Julia's Roberts appeal. I still think she is over rated. Roberts does that Pretty Woman hand slamed in the jewlery box yelp/laugh in EVERY movie!! Plus she looks like her brother Eric, with boobs and lipstick. Say, has anyone ever seen them two together? Perhaps they are the same person! (Like Jancheal Jackson). Dying The media covers what's new - and millions of people dying is nothing new. So it stays in the background, where it's easier to ignore. But even when we do see it or read about it, it's difficult to keep our eyes on the problem. It's hard to look at suffering if the situation is so complex that we don't know how to help. And so we look away. Pet peeves Here are a few pet peeves just for comparison. Bad cuts of steak. Piss all over the bathroom because each patron incrementally seps one pace back to avoid the piss all over the bathroom. The 350-pound guy who sits down in the next booth and turns the combined seat into a see saw. The waitress who wants 20% for taking the order, bringing it out, and refilling the drinks twice (but no more so a to clear the table). Recently, elementary kids have been getting up from their tables and visiting other tables. It's some weird Children of the Corn stuff. It's not a soccer team lunch. It's people who know each other yet sat across the restaurant from one another. No big deal except the kids hold pow wows in the aisle and block me from going to the piss stained bathroom. New Look Well, I've got this site's look about where I want it. It's been a while since I've done anything, and as a result, it's taken me a lot longer than usual for me to put something together. Anyway, I just wanted to say, thanks for all the kind words. I'll try to post something new soon. I've been hammered at work, so it's been tough for me to muster up the energy to scratch out something interesting enough to post. Stay tuned! The Sheltering Sky Because we do not know when we will die, we get to think of life as an inexhaustible well. And yet everything happens only a certain number of times, and a very small number really. How many more times will you remember a certain afternoon of your childhood, an afternoon that is so deeply a part of your being that you cannot conceive of your life without it? Perhaps four, or five times more? Perhaps not even that. How many more times will you watch the full moon rise? Perhaps twenty. And yet it all seems limitless... Hope Love comes to those who still hope, even though they've been disappointed, to those who still love even though they've been hurt before. The important thing is not that we can live on hope alone, but that life is not worth living without it. We waste time looking for the perfect lover, instead of creating the perfect love. Shout outs And of course, there are a few people out there I have to mention, even though their sites are utter crap, it's best to humor them. My old roommate has once again made changes to his web page. Notice how he continually tries to build himself up as having a life? I have never seen anyone try so hard to convince himself he is cool. He actually believes the shit he's shoveling. |

In fact, as convincing as this might be, This is nothing more than free commercial advertising. Spammers began as a minor annoyance, but they now control the Internet thanks to a long list of trusting retards. To uncover how this scam works, being able to think is not enough. One must think in a different way � more skeptical and suspicious than most people are. If no recipients ever responded to spam, it would die out in a fortnight � but there is always someone, brain-damaged or pathological, who responds to spam advertising.
I know I've made the spam problem seem rather hopeless, but there are ways to deal with it. I would suggest that people stop responding to spam, but confronting human stupidity is a losing proposition, so that's off the list. As in all modern political activity, whatever remedies are considered, they must work around the problem of stupid people.
