Welcome to Ever After
This is a website for a roleplaying game based off of Final Fantasy X. The game itself actually is located on greatestjournal, but this website exists to hold all of the information for the game so that our userinfo page is not cluttered.

Why did I pick the name Ever After? Because when I was talking about this idea with an old friend, we thought that it was an interesting name because not everything is happily ever after in Spira, although the characters are trying to make it so.

Game Layout and Introduction
Ever After is an au (alternate universe) game, that doesn't take place before or after either X or X-2. It takes place in its own time, in a different setting than the actual games themselves. The location is still in Spira, although things are a bit different than how they are in the games. Yevon is in complete and total control of Spira, its followers are well off and taken care of, but those who do not follow live difficult and rough lives. The Guado and Spiran civilians are in league with Yevon, and are free to live their lives as they see fit; as long as what they do fits in the Yevon guidelines and teachings. Summoners are a special class of their own and are seen as high ranking religious officials in Yevon's eyes, for it is very difficult to become a full fledged summoner. Things are different for the Ronso and Al Bhed, however. Both races have basically been enslaved, the Ronso out of fear of them being monsters and the Al Bhed because they are seen as unpure heathens who caused Sin's arrival. (This might be a good time to announce that Sin still exists in this game, although attacks from the monster are few and rare at this time.) The Al Bhed are basically confined to their encampment in the Bikanel Desert, and the Ronso their encampment on Mt. Gagazet. However, there are a large number of Al Bhed and Ronso as well taken from their homes to work for Yevonite and Guado households. That is the basic layout of this game. The plot is not set in stone, it will go in the direction that the players will take it. Characters from any Final Fantasy game are allowed, although you must modify their history and classifications to fit into Spira.

Want to join?
First off, I ask that you read the story, game info, and game rules sections. Then, once you have read and comprehend them, proceed to look over the character list section. From there, if the character(s) you want are not taken, please proceed foward to the applicaton. It usually takes me between 1-3 days to read over each application and make a decision, sometimes a bit longer (depending on what is going on in life at the time). If you are bringing in characters from another Final Fantasy, I ask that you please fully comprehend how their backstory and roles must change to fit into this game before you apply for them. Its really not that hard, but I don't want someone applying for Rinoa to be an Al Bhed or Edgar Figaro to be a Ronso. It just wouldn't work, I don't think.
