Braai-Flace in the news
Bristol Evening Post, Saturday 10th March 2001
'Cynics might have dismissed the idea of this Bristol University Rocksoc showcase as just another student indulgence, but it would have been their loss. Never mind the tournament format - this was slick, competent entertainment in its own right ... But the night - which also boasted a set by Braai-Flace, and introductions by a fish-net shirted rock chick - had a consistent quality and efficiently brief intervals. Though nothing revolutionary, it was a promising indicator of the health of today's college bands.                      '

And that's it. A mention midway through the penultimate paragraph that simply notes our presence. I was quite disheartened by this until someone told me that the reviewer didn't even turn up until after our set, so he was given the unenviable task of reviewing something of which he had absolutely no knowledge. The Bristol University Rocksoc termly magazine reviewed the same gig in a similar vein, but in that article we didn't even have the dignity of having our name spelt correctly.
