OCTOBER 5, 2003
NARRATOR: *Radagast offers his hand*

CIMORENE: *she stares at him a moment, then narrows her eyes a little*  Prove it

NARRATOR: Radagast:*narrows his eyes and grows serious in a moment*You dare accuse me of not being *your elf sense flares to life on him feeling immense power in him*Radagast the Brown?  Protector of the forest and bringer of aid?!

NARRATOR: *he is almost shouting*

CIMORENE: *she stands easily in his presence, having stood by her mentor for many years.  She is shaken, however, and she averts her eyes*  Forgive me, my lord.....

NARRATOR: Radagast:*still looking deathly serious*Now I would ask for some more gratitude than this for saving your life.  I was told you were among the order but now it is I who doubt you.  Regardless I will help you get back to my apprentice.

CIMORENE: *she leaps to her own feet now*  I did not fight my way through slashing fangs and falling trees only to be tricked by an old man, even if he is my savior!  Forgive me for my impudence, but I have been lied to before!  my mission is far too important to allow myself to be misguided, and if that is foolishness, then call me foolish and be done with it!

NARRATOR: Radagast:*clearly threatened*What mission is this?  That is of course, if you believe me to not just be some old man*leans playfully on his staff and gives a true smile*.

CIMORENE: *his smile, so much like her mentor's, calms her almost immiedietly, and she smiles back*  We will discuss it when we are in a little safer territory

NARRATOR: Radagast:*suddenly remembering where he is*Ah yes, this is a good plan.

CIMORENE: (*munches on her Skittles*)

NARRATOR: (yum yum)

NARRATOR: Radagast:Did you need more rest?

CIMORENE: *she glances at him*  Are you adverse to carrying me?

NARRATOR: Radagast:*looks determined*(wits test)If you are in need of the service i can provide it.

CIMORENE: (11)

NARRATOR: (nice)

NARRATOR: *you notice that he hasn't slept for days*

CIMORENE: *she shakes her head*  If you don't mind going slightly slower, I can manage.....

CIMORENE: I just want to get away from those cursed spiders

NARRATOR: Radagast: I do not think we are that safe yet.  If you cannot keep up I must carry you.

NARRATOR: Radagast: Another confrontation would be very trying on you.

CIMORENE: I cannot keep up, my lord.... (and that's the truth too)

NARRATOR: (how do you mean?)

CIMORENE: (She is WAY too weak to  keep up with him)

NARRATOR: Radagast: Very well.*picks you up again*  We should be on our way.

NARRATOR: (ya you're right)

CIMORENE: *she wraps her arms around his neck and watches behind them as he moves*

NARRATOR: (and now i roll)

NARRATOR: (pray on this *rolls*)

CIMORENE: (Don't you DARE let me get attacked again)

NARRATOR: (it's not me, it's the dice...)

CIMORENE: (*threatens to shoot his dice*)

NARRATOR: (let me see *thinks hard on the best way to do this...*)

CIMORENE: (..........)

NARRATOR: (observe check...)

CIMORENE: (14)

NARRATOR: *things are fine*

NARRATOR: (...)

CIMORENE: (ye gods....)

NARRATOR: Radagast:*stops dead in his tracks**talks to himself*No, I refuse.  *to you*  I am going to try to help you quickly *begins to chant*

CIMORENE: *she blinks a few times at him*

NARRATOR: Radagast:*stops in midchant*(very unusual btw) Would you prefer to be turned into a tree or gain a defensive edge?

CIMORENE: *she stares at him*  Defensive edge.  If I am to die, I will die with honor

NARRATOR: Radagast:There is no time *serious*I need a snap decision Cimorine.  You are certain?  As a tree they would not suspect you.

CIMORENE: They?

NARRATOR: Radagast:Yes, there is more than one.  *looks around at things you can't find*

CIMORENE: A tree....... if that is what you suggest, my lord.... *hands him her bow*

NARRATOR: Radagast:It will be fine.  Now hold still and allow it to happen.  *begins to chant again*

NARRATOR: (he didn't take the bow btw)

CIMORENE: *closes her eyes and freezes instantly*

CIMORENE: (I igured)

NARRATOR: *after a minute or so of what appears to be extreme concentration he stops and touches you*

NARRATOR: *you cannot move but can see all around you*

NARRATOR: *Radagast puts his staff out in front of him for battle and draws a small sword*

NARRATOR: *3 spiders come straight for him*

CIMORENE: (Can she speak?)

NARRATOR: *he seems determined and begins chanting*

NARRATOR: (she can think to him if she wishes)

CIMORENE: (Righto)

NARRATOR: (he can hear trees;-))

CIMORENE: (lol)

NARRATOR: *a bolt of lightining flows from his staff into a spider and it trips to the ground*

NARRATOR: *chanting furiously now, radagast produces a glow from his sword, it is glowing orange*

NARRATOR: *the spiders are almost within reach, the thrid is getting up*

NARRATOR: *the wizard strikes a spider with staff and sword, the sword seems to be particuarily effective*

NARRATOR: *he parries most of the fang attacks at him*

NARRATOR: *and slashes the spider from before dead finally with his sword*

NARRATOR: *the spider from the ground leaps onto you, the tree and begins to climb*

CIMORENE: (...... can I move at all?)

NARRATOR: (no)

CIMORENE: (damn)

NARRATOR: *radagast chants something you've never heard before*

CIMORENE: *Calls out, not even knowing she can be hard*  Radagast, behind you!  In the tree!!!!

NARRATOR: *in the midst of his great spell he stops and turns looking for the foe and is clawed by his opponent and groans in pain*

CIMORENE: (*whaps herself in the head)

NARRATOR: Radagast:Back spawn of evil! *turns back to his opponent and finishes his spell.  A bright white flame hits and disintegrates the beast*

NARRATOR: *the spider on you climbs to your top and leaps at the wizard*

NARRATOR: *Radagast is caught in a struggle with the beast and they are wriggling on the ground*

NARRATOR: *the wizard snaps his fingers and you are an elf again*

CIMORENE: *Without a single thought she draws back her bow and looses an arrow*

NARRATOR: (your move)

CIMORENE: (16)

NARRATOR: *your arrow hits*

CIMORENE: (12)

CIMORENE: *And fires again*

NARRATOR: *it groans in agony*

CIMORENE: (Heeheehee.... free action to reload bow)

NARRATOR: (oh no...)

CIMORENE: (16 again)

NARRATOR: *another hit*

CIMORENE: (13)

NARRATOR: *it dies*

CIMORENE: (WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!)

NARRATOR: (hehe)

CIMORENE: My Lord Radagast!!  *hurries to his side*

NARRATOR: Radagast:*seems minimally injured*It is alright Cimorene.  I shall be fine, now I have quite an idea for us.  *begins to chant*

NARRATOR: *stops chanting and whistles*

NARRATOR: Radagast:I am asking an old friend for help.

NARRATOR: Radagast:*relaxes* Now Cimorene how are you?  *smiles like a child* How did you like that last spell?

CIMORENE: Being a tree is interesting, my lord

CIMORENE: *offers him a hand*  let's get out of here

NARRATOR: Radagast:*looking very calm*No, we must wait for my friend.

NARRATOR: *he finally gets up, and uses your hand*

CIMORENE: *she stares at him*  Your friend?  But the spiders....

NARRATOR: *you hear a horse*

NARRATOR: *a beautiful brown horse with no saddle comes to you two*

NARRATOR: Radagast:*points to the horse* This is Arnor.

CIMORENE: *she blinks at him*  Arnor?

NARRATOR: Radagast:*dumbfounded by you*My horse.  I will ride us to safety.

CIMORENE: His name is Arnor..... *she reaches out a hand to pet the lovely creature's nose*

NARRATOR: *it accepts you tenderly*

NARRATOR: *radagast gets on the horse*

NARRATOR: *he offers you a hand*

CIMORENE: *she smiles and takes his hand tenderly in hers, whispering*  A knight on a brown horse..... strange....

NARRATOR: *he laughs hardily*

NARRATOR: *and rides off with you*

CIMORENE: (With me on the front or the back?)

NARRATOR: (back of course)

CIMORENE: (Just checking)

NARRATOR: *it is only another half a days ride when you find his cabin*

CIMORENE: *She is sleeping by the time they get there*

NARRATOR: Radagast:*nudges you*Cimorene we have arrived to safety.

NARRATOR: *ulrich comes to help you off*

CIMORENE: *she mumbles softly, still trying to fight off the spider venom*

NARRATOR: (btw the venom never hurt you)

NARRATOR: (the web kept you from healing)

NARRATOR: (yes, the teeth hurt, but you were'nt  poisioned)

CIMORENE: (ah)

CIMORENE: *IS still trying to recover from her fight*

NARRATOR: (you're an elf;-))

NARRATOR: (k)

NARRATOR: *ulrich helps you down*

NARRATOR: *radagast whispers something to Arnor and lets the horse lick him on the face*

NARRATOR: *Arnor comes to you and licks your face and it actually tickles and feels wonderful*

NARRATOR: *then the horse rides off*

CIMORENE: *she leans heavily on Ulrich, her feet barely able to hold her up, but she hugs him anyway.  She then giggles weakly at the horse*

CIMORENE: *Tears trickle down her cheeks as she hugs Ulrich*  I thought you were dead, my lord

NARRATOR: Ulrich:Oh Cimorene, it will take more than a mere spider to stop me*winks*.  Now that stunt you pulled with the tree had me plainly worried.

CIMORENE: *she grins a little*  Me too..... but it worked, somehow

NARRATOR: Radagast:*to ulrich*Ah, apprentice you must realize our Cimorene the Violet is more resilient than we may have believed.

NARRATOR: Radagast:*to you* *hand clasped on your shoulder*Praise to the valar and to eru for your safety.  *turns and walks into his cabin*

NARRATOR: Ulrich:*to you*I think he's right.

CIMORENE: *leans heavily on Ulrich*  I think I need to lie down, old friend.... about what?

NARRATOR: Ulrich:About everything as usual*smiles*.  We can get you a bed of course.  You shall have quite a rest tonight.  There is no need to fear here.

CIMORENE: Ulrich..... What about Ipal?

NARRATOR: Ulrich:What about him?  You saved his life for certain.  He kept mumbling about "Cimorene the fair" in his fevor.  *holds up a hand to quell your guessed protest* Do not worry, the fevor from his wounds has also passed.  He needs his rest too now.

CIMORENE: (fever)

CIMORENE: *she breathes a sigh of relief, then promtply passes out*

NARRATOR: (he was affected from the venom )

NARRATOR: (he's no elf;-))

NARRATOR: *you dream*

CIMORENE: *Goodie.... I hope it's about Melandar, and not spiders*

NARRATOR: *you see Melendar walking alone through the outskirst of middle-earth*

NARRATOR: *he seems sad and yet determined*

NARRATOR: *he walks into what looks like complete and utter blackness*

CIMORENE: *she gasps and calls his name*

NARRATOR: *he walks knowing this, it seems, takes a breath and continues*

NARRATOR: *he seems to look back to hear something but cannot place it*

NARRATOR: *continues to the blackness*

NARRATOR: *you wake up*

CIMORENE: *she wakes up with a start, sitting up and calling out*  Melandar!

NARRATOR: *in the bed next to you Ipal stirs in his own sleep*

NARRATOR: *it is dark and there is a lantern in the room*

NARRATOR: *you're in a wooden log-cabin room*

CIMORENE: *she groans and holds her head in her hands, panting*

NARRATOR: *ulrich comes in*

NARRATOR: Ulrich:What is the matter Cimorene?  More of that Melendar that Oromic was discussing?

CIMORENE: *she nods a little, still holding her head*  I think he's in danger.... and I don't know how to help him...

NARRATOR: Ulrich:I think you will ultimately not have to try to find him Cimorene.  I believe you are alive now for a purpose.  Eru has a plan for you.  I beleive it involves this Melendar.

CIMORENE: *she stares at him a moment, then smiles*  What time is it?

NARRATOR: *he is speaking very consolatory*

CIMORENE: (And how healed am I?)

NARRATOR: (2 hp)

CIMORENE: (..... she's still incapacitated)

NARRATOR: Ulrich:It is 6 am.

NARRATOR: (she can be healed then, till she isn't incapacitated.K?)

NARRATOR: (go up one wound level)

CIMORENE: (ty)

NARRATOR: (sure)

NARRATOR: Ulrich:You should rest more Cimorene.  Even for an elf you have had a great beating and it sounds like this is all taking a great toll on you.

CIMORENE: *she nods, laying back down*  Are we truly safe here, Ulrich?  I fear for your safety...

NARRATOR: Ulrich:*amused*You fear for my safety?  Why not your own first or Ipals?  *chuckles a little*My master has taken precautions to make sure anyone or anything coming here to do those in the cabin wrong shall be cursed horribly.

CIMORENE: (brb)

NARRATOR: Ulrich:They have learned this the hard way and know better than to cause trouble here.

NARRATOR: (k)

NARRATOR: Ulrich:Why do you fear for me?*he is very interested*

CIMORENE: (b)

NARRATOR: (k, catch up)

NARRATOR: (your turn)

CIMORENE: *she glances at him, extremely serious*  YOu are necessary to the cause.  If Ipal or I die, nothing will be hurt in the long run.  Ipal.... *she glances over at him*  Ipal I would save second, but you, my lord, you must come first.

NARRATOR: Ulrich:I am sorry to rouse you so.  *seems remorseful*  We shall see what the valar have to say about this task
before us.  I believe there is much good to come of it.  I believe you'll find your... friend Melendar as well as the lost Wizards.

CIMORENE: *she smiles and closes her eyes slowly as she settles back down.  In seconds, she is asleep again*

NARRATOR: (impressive)

NARRATOR: (wish i could do that)

CIMORENE: ( me too)

NARRATOR: *you dream*

NARRATOR: *you see the same landscape only he isn't there anymore and it seems lonely.  there is a cold and loud wind blowing*

CIMORENE: *she hugs herself against the blowing wind, looking around*  Hello?

NARRATOR: *what do you do?*

NARRATOR: (sorry)

NARRATOR: *"what do you do?"*

NARRATOR: *it is a voice that you cannot place*

CIMORENE: *She turns around twice, searching for the voice*  Who are you?

NARRATOR: *"what do you do now?"*

CIMORENE: I.... *she looks at her hands*  I'm dreaming....

NARRATOR: *the wind stops and the landscape has no sound anymore*

NARRATOR: *the blackness starts to come closer in a wall*

NARRATOR: *slowly but relentlessly all the same*

CIMORENE: *she screams, fearing this darkness, and runs the other way*

NARRATOR: *you turn and see you are on a great hill*

NARRATOR: *the hill overlooks all of middle-earth it seems*

NARRATOR: *the hill is VERY steep*

CIMORENE: *she stares down, then glances over her shoulder*

CIMORENE: (*snarls and dives back into her game*)

NARRATOR: (you get my transcript?)

NARRATOR: (sent a new one)

CIMORENE: *smiles*  I actually got that one before it died on me)

NARRATOR: (i'll go back to the dream for you, if you wanted another chance to participate?)

NARRATOR: (or did you want to wake up where you you were to have?)

CIMORENE: (Yes, please.   just read it, and really want to reply)

NARRATOR: (?k.... what?)

CIMORENE: (Go on from my last post, k?)

NARRATOR: (k)

NARRATOR: CIMORENE: *she stares down, then glances over her shoulder*

NARRATOR: *the blackness is nearly upon you now*

NARRATOR: "stop!"

NARRATOR: "don't!"

NARRATOR: *the blackness halts in front of you*

NARRATOR: "I won't let it happen to you!"*there is great strain in the voice great pain*

NARRATOR: *the blackness stays still all around you and goes forward towards middle-earth on all sides*

NARRATOR: *it is a framiliar voice*

CIMORENE: NO!!!  I won't let you harm my Middle Earth!!  *she, for some strange reason, casts the Flame of Anor*

CIMORENE: (lol)

NARRATOR: (at the blackness?)

CIMORENE: (yup)

NARRATOR: (k)

NARRATOR: *the spell makes the curtain of darkness pull back behind you again*

NARRATOR: *it comes back, though at the same relentless pace*

NARRATOR: *the voice seems to be pleading with someone now*

CIMORENE: *she whirls to face it, drawing her bow and firing into it as she screams*  I won't let you have it!  I won't!!!!!!!

CIMORENE: Let him go!!!!

NARRATOR: "please do not harm her"

NARRATOR: "i will be forfeit"

NARRATOR: *the darkness comes to you anew*

NARRATOR: *stops in the same place in the same way*

NARRATOR: *and goes around you in the same way*

CIMORENE: *She continues to fire as fast as she can, screaming again and again, then casts Flames of Anor and some kind of lightening spell*

CIMORENE: (I love dreams..... you can do anything you want)

NARRATOR: (yeah...)

NARRATOR: *your efforts seem to do nothing*

NARRATOR: *there are many great battles in the far distance*

NARRATOR: "YOU CANNOT STOP IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

NARRATOR: *awake*

CIMORENE: *she screams at the top of her lungs in her sleep, and thrashes around*

NARRATOR: *Ipal wakes up this time*

NARRATOR: Ipal:*stiff in bed*M'lady!?

CIMORENE: *She huddles in the corner of her bed, tears streaming down her cheeks as she sobs in great heaving breaths*

NARRATOR: Ipal:*painfully gets out of bed and stumbles over to you*What is it?

NARRATOR: *he puts his arms around you*

CIMORENE: *she leans into him and just sobs into his chest, hugging herself*

NARRATOR: *he gently kisses your head and restrains himself it seems*

NARRATOR: *he lets you be yourself*

NARRATOR: Ipal:It will be alright M'lady.  *lets out a smile for you*Ipal is back.

CIMORENE: *she smiles a little through her tears, then pushes him away gently, coming back to herself*  Ipal.... are you better?

NARRATOR: Ipal:I understand I owe you my life.

NARRATOR: Ipal:I think I owe you a debt that cannot be repaid and so to start I shall tell you my real name.

CIMORENE: *she stops his talk with her finger on his lips*  We need to leave as soon as possible.... names can wait, my friend

CIMORENE: Wait.... your REAL nam?
NARRATOR: Ipal:*with your finger on his lips a lifetime seems to pass behind his eyes and he restrains whatever he thought*You are right.  We should be off.

NARRATOR: Ipal:*suddenly awake*We must be off at once for you.  *he takes a few steps and falls out of exhaustion*

CIMORENE: *she reaches out to grab him, hugging him against her*  Oh, ipal....

CIMORENE: *Healing*

NARRATOR: (roll)

CIMORENE: (If I get kicked off again, I'm going to bed)

NARRATOR: (k)

CIMORENE: (16)

NARRATOR: (ya you made the weariness)

CIMORENE: (wonderful)

NARRATOR: *Ipal straightens up*

CIMORENE: Better?

NARRATOR: Ipal:I'm sorry M'lady I didn't mean to give you a scare.

CIMORENE: *she winks at him*  I understand.  Are you feeling better?

NARRATOR: *he looks up into your eyes*

NARRATOR: Ipal:*shakes it off*Yes indeed. I thank you yet again.

NARRATOR: Ipal:You have an enchanting power I will say that M'lady.

CIMORENE: *she chuckles as she heads for the door*  Get your things together, friend.... I'm going to see our wizards

CIMORENE: *With that, she heads out the door and looks for the wizards*

NARRATOR: *you hear his affirmation in the distance*

NARRATOR: *they don't appear to be anywher on the floor.  looking upstairs you find them chatting on a balcony*

NARRATOR: *they are admiring a beautiful forest morning*

CIMORENE: *She looks remarkably resplendant in her robes, and she smiles at them*  Good morrow, my lords

NARRATOR: *they both turn and say a goodmorning*

NARRATOR: Radagast:I'm told you had quite a scare over the night?  But did you get the rest you needed?

NARRATOR: Ulrich:Yes Cimorene?  Are you feeling any better?

CIMORENE: *she nods at Radagast*  Dark have been my dreams of late.... and I fear for someone I shouldn't be fearing for, and I fear for Middle Earth.  We cannot tarry here any longer

NARRATOR: Radagast:I disagree.  You and your... servant need much more care.

NARRATOR: Ulrich:I suggest we take his offer while we have such an opportunity.

NARRATOR: Ulrich:For I may most likely be going off with my master to Minas Tirith.

CIMORENE: There is something lurking in the mountains, my Lords..... something evil, and very very powerful.... *she stops*  You are not finishing the journey with us?

NARRATOR: Ulrich:I was told to find my master, but Oromic left much uncertantiy to what to do afterwards.  If you believe I should go with you I can and will.  What is your decision?

NARRATOR: Radagast:Your dream?  You saw something did you?  A powerful evil you say?*thinks*

CIMORENE: *she thinks a moment*  The quest given to us is the most important.  Return to the White City with your master, and tell Lord Oromic of my dreams.... *tells them everything*

NARRATOR: Ulrich:*looks to Radagast*master do you need me for this venture?

NARRATOR: Radagast:*clasps a hand on Ulrichs shoulder*Ulrich!  I think I will be able to take care of myself to the white city.  I'll see this red wizard for myself.  If he is indeed as I and the other 4 then we shall see what happens.

NARRATOR: Ulrich:*to you*I think you could use my help afterall Cimorene.  *smiles*Besides, elves are so delicate.  They need protection*winks*

CIMORENE: We have a long and dangerous journey ahead of us, my lord Radagast... is there anything you can give us to aid us?  *playfully glares at Ulrich*

NARRATOR: Radagast:I understand that you lost a horse.  I can ask one if he would accompany you.  If one will then I can offer that.

CIMORENE: *She forces back the tears*  He is dead then.....

NARRATOR: Radagast:Your horse should be in the stable sleeping still.

NARRATOR: (IPALS HORSE LAURA0

CIMORENE: *She stares at Radagast*  Bard is alive?

NARRATOR: Radagast:of course

CIMORENE: (He said that there was no horse found, lol)

NARRATOR: (ask in game;-))

CIMORENE: But..... you said that you found no horse, lord Radagast

NARRATOR: Ulrich:*speaks up before radagast can* I told him we had lost a horse.  I forgot at the time to inform him that I had lead Bard to safety here.

NARRATOR: Ulrich:I am sorry to have caused you unnecisary grief.

CIMORENE: Bard is alive!!!!!  *she spins around happily, gleeful for this small miracle*

NARRATOR: *you stare back at two smiling, happy wizards*

CIMORENE: We still need to leave, my lords.

NARRATOR: Radagast:You are sure you must go at this moment?  You will be no good to him if you die on the journey.

NARRATOR: *ulrich stares at his master*

CIMORENE: *she blinks at Radagast*  Good to whom, my lord?

NARRATOR: Radagast:You know of whom I speak.*winks*

NARRATOR: Ulrich:you did tell us everything Cimorene.

CIMORENE: *She blushes bright red, then turns away*  W-we still need to leave within three days, my lords.  I am leaving then.  I pray that you will accompany me.,

CIMORENE: (Ordering little thing, isn't she?)

NARRATOR: (hehe, she trys)

CIMORENE: (END)
