NARRATOR: (GAME ON)
CIMORENE: CIMORENE: *She blushes bright red, then turns away* W-we still need to leave within three days, my lords. I am leaving then. I pray that you will accompany me.,
NARRATOR: Ulrich:I think you could use my assistance Cimorene. My master knows his way to the white city.*looks to radagast*
NARRATOR: Radagast:*to ulrich*Of course. You are resourceful, Ulrich. I am sure you you can be of great help to her.
CIMORENE: *she sighs* I would be grateful for the help, my lord. This journey is far more perilous that I first believed
NARRATOR: Radagast:Middle-Earth is a perilous place indeed.
CIMORENE: *she sighs* It wasn't nearly so frightening last time I wandered this land.... but now I find myself.... almost inadequate. My Lord Radagast, will you school me for the next three days in magic?
NARRATOR: *radagast looks dumbfounded*
NARRATOR: (clever girl...)
CIMORENE: (*grins*)
NARRATOR: Ulrich:What do you mean cimorene?
NARRATOR: Radagast:I recall Saruman the white had last instructed you. Haven't you learned all that you needed?
CIMORENE: I ahve learned from three of the wizards from the Great Council, and I fear not being able to defend myself and my companions should one of them fall again
CIMORENE: I barely survived this last encounter, and you saved me both times, my lord
NARRATOR: *you recall saruman having looked on radagast as a simpleton*
NARRATOR: Radagast:Can you speak to nature?
CIMORENE: (IS that a spell?)
NARRATOR: (ya)
NARRATOR: (beast speech)
CIMORENE: *she shakes her head a little, wincing and fighting down the memory of her former mentor* I cannot, my lord. Speaking to Bard is one thing, but Nature is another
NARRATOR: Radagast:Very well then if you'd like I can assist you in this realm. Unlike Saruman I rely on more suttle uses of power.
CIMORENE: *she frowns slightly* You know, my lord..... Saruman could be gentle as well as fierce.... few remember that
NARRATOR: Radagast:Perhaps he was a time ago. That time has long since past don't you think? Regardless of our relationship I am willing to help you.
CIMORENE: *she bows deeply, unwilling to get into such an argument with one such as Radagast* my lord Ulrich, could you please look in on Ipal again?
NARRATOR: Ulrich:Of course*walks off*
NARRATOR: Radagast:Then we shall begin at once?
CIMORENE: *she nods, remaining in a bow*
NARRATOR: (d6 roll)
CIMORENE: (4)
NARRATOR: (k)
NARRATOR: *over the course of the 3 days he teaches you beast speech*
CIMORENE: (woohoo!)
NARRATOR: (need stats?)
CIMORENE: (nope)
NARRATOR: (k)
NARRATOR: (it's at -10)
NARRATOR: (remember? unless you roll box cars it goes down by 1 each week)
NARRATOR: (or i mean starts at -5)
CIMORENE: (right)
CIMORENE: (-5?)
NARRATOR: (wasn't that the change?)
NARRATOR: (or was it at 10....)
CIMORENE: (I have no idea)
CIMORENE: (it's only a TN 5 spell anyway)
NARRATOR: (lol, 7 for a comprimise)
CIMORENE: (sounds good)
CIMORENE: (three days pass?)
NARRATOR: *he also teaches you the calling spell*
CIMORENE: (beast calling?)
NARRATOR: (it is just calling)
CIMORENE: (okies)
NARRATOR: *3 days pass and Ipal is looking okay, you are under teaching of radagast the brown and things are readied to go*
CIMORENE: (I assume we are both healed, due to healing spells)
CIMORENE: (or at least in healthy)
NARRATOR: (lets say just barely healthy)
CIMORENE: (sounds good)
NARRATOR: (k)
NARRATOR: *so it's day 3*
NARRATOR: (remember to keep track of this somehow...)
CIMORENE: *she is out in the stables again, talking to bard*
CIMORENE: (of days?)
NARRATOR: (if possible?)
NARRATOR: (been almost 2 weeks)
CIMORENE: (sounds good)
NARRATOR: *Ulrich comes into the stable*
NARRATOR: Ulrich:Are you prepared now Cimorene?
CIMORENE: *she smiles at Ulrich softly* Are you sure you don't want to return with Lord Ulrich?
CIMORENE: (*Radagast
NARRATOR: Ulrich:I am sure that I am needed more with you.
NARRATOR: *he looks solemn*
CIMORENE: *she smiles and brushes past him, gripping his arm for a moment and meeting his eyes in gratitude* I'm glad
NARRATOR: Ulrich:*brightens up*Glad to hear it. Now where exactly are we off to next?
CIMORENE: *she glances northward wistfully, then to the east* Towards the Blue Wizards, my lord. To the (mountains?)
NARRATOR: (no-one really knows what's east...)
CIMORENE: To the east
NARRATOR: *Ipal comes over*
NARRATOR: Ipal:We are off the mistress?
CIMORENE: We cannot dally in our task.... *she says this softly, her eyes on the North for a moment. She glances at Ipal with a smile* Ipal.... are we friends?
NARRATOR: Ipal:Whatever do you mean?
NARRATOR: *ulrich takes a cue and leaves quietly*
NARRATOR: *bard puts his head down*
CIMORENE: We are friends, aren't we? *she turns towards him, trying her best to mask the sorrow in her eyes, and suceeding*
NARRATOR: (rolling?)
CIMORENE: (nah)
NARRATOR: (k then)
NARRATOR: Ipal:I feel a great connection to you m'lady yes.
NARRATOR: *he looks equally sincere*
CIMORENE: *she sighs a little, chuckling under her breath* Fine. I consider you my friend, Ipal. So please... don't call me mistress or m'lady. *she goes over and touches his shoulder, looking at him hard* My name is Cimorene, Ipal... and I could really use a friend on this journey.
CIMORENE: (Isn't she cuuuuuute?)
NARRATOR: Ipal:*taking your embrace easily*I am here for you if you need me in any way wizardress. You only need call.
NARRATOR: (hmm)
CIMORENE: *she rubs the bridge between her eyes and sighs in defeat* Fine... let's just go..... *heads for the house, muttering something in Elven about stupid humans*
NARRATOR: *bard neighs in response*
CIMORENE: *that sends her laughing into the house to find Radagast*
NARRATOR: *he isn't hard to find*
CIMORENE: *she comes in wearing her violet robes, which are clean and resplendant as she goes and kneels before Radagast, smiling* my lord
NARRATOR: Radagast:*smiling back*Good day Cimorene. Something more to discuss?
CIMORENE: *she shakes her head, standing quickly* We should be leaving, my lord. *she averts her eyes slightly* We.... well, I.... I was just wondering....
NARRATOR: *he looks on waiting*
CIMORENE: *she plays with a lock of her hair* D-Do you believe that an evil person can change?
NARRATOR: *he is thinking HARD clearly*
CIMORENE: (ll)
NARRATOR: Radagast:It is possible, but not an easy task by far. The Valar always had a price to be payed for such action.
CIMORENE: *she nods* but it CAN be done, then....?
NARRATOR: Radagast:Yes....*highly hesitates*Remember that we had thought that the enemy had repented once...
CIMORENE: *she nods* Indeed. I will remember
NARRATOR: Radagast:*seeming satisfied*Good, I would encourage that. Was there anything else?
CIMORENE: *she smiles and moves closer to him* Yes. *She kisses his cheek* I never thanked you for saving me from the spiders. Thank you, my lord
NARRATOR: Radagast:*modestly*You are most welcome.
CIMORENE: *she smiles brightly at him and moves away quickly* I beleive we will be off. Have you any knowledge of the East?
NARRATOR: Radagast:*shakes his head*I have almost never traveled out in that region. It did not strike me as very hospitable and I encountered a strange breed of men. I imagine that Alatar and Pallando would have trouble with them
CIMORENE: Who?
NARRATOR: Radagast:You are not aware of our brothers in blue?
CIMORENE: I was never told their names
NARRATOR: Radagast:*to himself*Now isn't that interesting...*to you again*It was their task to liberate the easterlings from the enemies sway. I imagine that it was nearly impossible if indeed they did at all.
CIMORENE: *she leans against a wall, crossing her arms over her chest* Indeed? Lord Oromic told me almost nothing about them
NARRATOR: Radagast:I imagine he knows little of them. I was, after all, one of their comrades in the flesh.
CIMORENE: *she grins a little* Then please, my lord...... enlighten me as to what to expect from these two.
NARRATOR: Radagast:Cimorene I have not seen them in a couple thousand years
CIMORENE: Well, I've NEVER seen them, so tell me what you can remember
NARRATOR: Radagast:*speaking soothingly*Very well. From what I last recall Alatar was more of the boss of the two than Pallando and they journeyed with Saruman to the east. He returned, as you know, but they never did. Alatar was a gentle one and very calm and in control of himself. Pallando seemed to be the same. Perhaps that is why they both wore sea-blue...
NARRATOR: Radagast:*clearly sorry*I apologize Cimorene let me think on this more won't you?
CIMORENE: *she bites her lip* We.... We're sort of leaving.... oday
NARRATOR: Radagast:Just what business do you have with them?
CIMORENE: Lord Oromic charged me to inspect them and ascertain their whereabouts and current occupations
NARRATOR: Radagast:*deep in thought*This gets more interesting all the time.
NARRATOR: Radagast:*look of finality crossing his face*I have a solution then!
CIMORENE: *she blinks*
NARRATOR: Radagast:I will journey with you two and my apprentice for a time.
CIMORENE: *anime face-faults*
NARRATOR: Radagast:This way I can recall what information you need on the two and lead you as far as I remember east. Your Oromic has specified no time for my coming and therefore I will not till I am satisfied with your business. Besides, I concede no lordship from him as of yet.
CIMORENE: *she gets back up, shaking off her robes* Well.... you are most welcome to come with us, my lord. At least we can get East with some form of guide. When will you be ready to leave?
NARRATOR: Radagast:I need only a few minutes, I will be with you soon. *motions you to leave*
CIMORENE: *she nods and heads off to find Ulrich, in a rather hurry*
NARRATOR: *you find ulrich out by the front door petting a squirrel*
NARRATOR: *the squirrel runs off at your prescence and ulrich turns to you*
CIMORENE: *she skids to a stop behind him, panting* My lord Ulrich!
NARRATOR: Ulrich:Yes Cimorene?
CIMORENE: lord Radagast wants to come with us!
NARRATOR: Ulrich:*brightens up*Well this is good news indeed!
CIMORENE: YOu didn't know, then?
NARRATOR: Ulrich:No, I have never known his full mind.
CIMORENE: Hmmm..... I wonder why this sudden change? *she strokes her chin* I find nothing wrong with his accompanying us... although it is rather sudden
NARRATOR: Ulrich:He is one of the five and as I said I have never known his full mind. You are suspicious? I am pleased, my master will surely lead us on safely.
NARRATOR: *Ipal wanders up to you both*
CIMORENE: I am not suspicious completely, my lord, but I have learned caution. Even those you love can betray you... *her voice is soft and sad again as she says this*
NARRATOR: Ulrich:*somber now*Ah, I have heard the tale. A good lesson to learn, but I cannot even concieve of this from Radagast the Brown.
NARRATOR: *Ipal is pretending to know what's going on*
CIMORENE: I could not convieve the betrayal of my master, Saruman the White either! *she says this rather loudly, emotions running too hard to notice Ipal standing close enough to hear her*
NARRATOR: Ulrich:*hurt*Cimorene, if you have a great trouble accepting his help then tell him so. If we are not united then we shall surely fail. Do not be taking your frustrations on me.
NARRATOR: *Ipal is looking very intently on you now*
NARRATOR: *Ulrich looks very serious*
CIMORENE: *she winces and turns away from him, hugging her own shoulders* Forgive me, my lord.... Dark has been my vision of late, and I fear myself these days. Maychance Lord Oromic made a mistake in entrusting this mission to me.
NARRATOR: Ulrich:Your dreams have been dark have they? Fear yourself? I believe he knew best in choosing you. NARRATOR: *Ipal puts a hand on your shoulder for support*
CIMORENE: *she turns back to him and stares for a moment, than looks at Ipal. Finally, she nods and smiles a little* mmhmm
NARRATOR: *Ipal relinquishes his hand*
NARRATOR: *it is a cloudy day and a mist is setting in slowly*
CIMORENE: *she smiles at them both* I'm glad you two decided to come with me. I wouldn't have made it far without either of you
NARRATOR: *ulrich looks at the ground modestly*
NARRATOR: *Ipal eagerly accepts the praise and nods at you*
NARRATOR: Ulrich:Now you will be all the more safe with my master accompaning us for a time.
NARRATOR: *ulrich is smiling and confident*
CIMORENE: I hope so.... *she mumurs to herself* Protected by day... helpless by night.
NARRATOR: *ulrich hears you but says nothing. he quietly exhales, though*
NARRATOR: Ipal:Wizardress you must understand that if I had not fought off the beasts I had they surely would have devoured you
CIMORENE: *she growls a little and grips Ipal by the shoulder* Ipal.... you're starting to get on my nerves. My name is Cimorene! Use it!
NARRATOR: Ipal:*with wounded pride, and great hurt*Yes........
CIMORENE: *she kisses his cheek* I hate being called wizardess, that's all
NARRATOR: *Ipal happily takes the kiss, but still seems wounded*
NARRATOR: *Ipal backs from you after the kiss*
NARRATOR: Ipal:*sounding deflated and defeated*Very well cimorene.
CIMORENE: *she whaps herself mentally in the head* How about Lady Cimorene then?
NARRATOR: *Ipal just looks at you blankly*
NARRATOR: Ulrich:*coughs to break a building awkward silence*So then shall we get the horses ready?
CIMORENE: *she nods, glancing at Ipal again, then whistles for Bard*
NARRATOR: *bard trots to you*
NARRATOR: *Ulrich whistles for his horse*
NARRATOR: *Radagast comes out the door*
NARRATOR: *Ipal walks to the stable slowly*
CIMORENE: *she mounts up, then glances at Ulrich, defeated* What am I going to do about him, my lord?
NARRATOR: Ulrich:*hands up in defeat*Matters of the heart are not matters I understand Cimorene.
NARRATOR: Radagast:*smiling and happy*So then are we ready for a good ride?
CIMORENE: *she nods, glancing towards the stable again* I cannot help feeling that I should send Ipal back home
NARRATOR: Ulrich:I doubt he would go if given the opportunity.
NARRATOR: Radagast:He seems set on staying by your side.
CIMORENE: *she sighs* I know... but I don't seem to be able to do anything right around him anymore! I'm worried...
NARRATOR: Radagast:It is not for you to decide his life Cimorene. Remember that.
CIMORENE: I'm afraid it has become so, my lord. I Enthralled him
NARRATOR: Radagast:*laughs*Even Elvish charm has to be on some level accepted freely by whoever it is upon*winks knowingly*
CIMORENE: *she smiles at him* So my request for him to use my name was not unreasonable?
NARRATOR: Radagast:What I am saying, Cimorene, is that if he truly wants to leave you he will.
NARRATOR: Ulrich:He'll most likely be over this and calling you whatever he wants later*chuckles*
CIMORENE: *she laughs abruptly, her clear voice echoing over the trees. She spurs her horse up into a rear, then rides off to the east as soon as Ipal is in sight*
NARRATOR: *you 4 ride off and as radagast takes the lead, you start to go the right way*
NARRATOR: *through this gathering mist there is nothing to see*
NARRATOR: *nothing to see but a great mess of trees, and forest brush*
NARRATOR: *Radagast rides on all day into the night, there is no real encounter of any kind along the way and you make camp near the edge of the forest on the eastern borders*
NARRATOR: (do you want to do any campfire talk?)
CIMORENE: not really.... unless Ulrich and Radagast have something to say. I'm spending my watch in a tree, watching the stars and thinking about my dreams.. Oh! Do I dream again?)
NARRATOR: (d6 roll)
CIMORENE: (5)
NARRATOR: *you dream*
CIMORENE: (woohoo!)
NARRATOR: (lol!)
NARRATOR: *you're on a framiliar dream hill*
CIMORENE: *she stares at the hill, looking around* Not again...
NARRATOR: *minas tirith seems VERY close and there is a red from surveying around where you are as if he were much further away*
NARRATOR: *the darkness is still in place, but there is a difference this time*
NARRATOR: *there is a wooden brown door in it*
CIMORENE: *she stares at the door and moves towards it slowly, her hand outstretched to it. She is not wearing her robes, but a lavender gown*
NARRATOR: (okay then...)
NARRATOR: *nothing happens as you approach*
CIMORENE: (*shrugs* I like my dress)
CIMORENE: *she reaches to touch the door, pausing for a moment, then touching the handle slowly*
NARRATOR: *still nothing*
CIMORENE: *turns handle*
NARRATOR: "don't"*softly spoken*
CIMORENE: *she pauses again, glancing around for the voice, but the handle has already been turned*
NARRATOR: "don't come"*softly spoken, pleading*
CIMORENE: Mel....?
NARRATOR: "don't come cimorene"
NARRATOR: *you can sense the pain*
CIMORENE: Melendar? *turns the handle fully, yaning the door open* Melendar!!
NARRATOR: *there is nothing to see but bright ominous white light*
NARRATOR: *blinding even to you*
NARRATOR: "you should not have done that..."
NARRATOR: *you wake up*
CIMORENE: *she awakes with a start again, clutching at the neck of her shirt with a soft cry* Ah!
NARRATOR: *the three males are all looking expectantly at you in the middle of the night*
CIMORENE: *she groans and holds her head in one hand, her eyes closed as she tries to slow her breathing down*
NARRATOR: Ulrich:It is your watch Cimorene.
NARRATOR: *Ipal lays to sleep imediately*
NARRATOR: *Ulrich prepares himself for rest*
CIMORENE: *she nods at them all and stands, a little shakily, and moves near the fire* I-Indeed...
NARRATOR: Radagast:I think I will stay up a bit longer with our friend here.
CIMORENE: *draws her bow and shakes her head to clear it*
NARRATOR: Radagast:*waits for quite a time, satisfied they sleep now*What happened?
CIMORENE: *she stares into the flames* I had a nightmare.... that's all
NARRATOR: Radagast:I recall my apprentice telling me this is not the first time in recent events. This is becoming chronic. Won't you talk to me?
CIMORENE: *she stares into the flames again, then smiles softy at Radagast* The Valar are testing me, I think..... and this puzzle is mine to wrestle. Your aide is appreciated, but I fear that this is my true task, my lord
NARRATOR: Radagast:*content*If you are truly believing the Valar to test you then I shall not interfer with their plans.
CIMORENE: *she stands and goes to lean against a tree* Go to sleep, my lord...... no one will harm you while I breathe
NARRATOR: Radagast:*impressed by the statement*Very well, Cimorene, I will take you up on that offer.
CIMORENE: *she nods and draws her bow back, closing her eyes to hear the forest* (Sense power)
NARRATOR: (roll on)
CIMORENE: (cast)
NARRATOR: (laura you're an elf)
NARRATOR: (you do it for free)
CIMORENE: (oops)
CIMORENE: (ok, well I rolled a 10)
NARRATOR: (k)
NARRATOR: *you feel the presence of two wizards and powerful ones right by you. There is only a faint hint of something in the very edge of your perception*
CIMORENE: *she narrows her eyes for a moment, then crouches on the edge of the clearing, watching the woods hard*
NARRATOR: (observe roll?)
CIMORENE: (14)
NARRATOR: *you can see nothing out of the ordinary*
NARRATOR: *btw the mist is still around you*
CIMORENE: *she stares hard at the mist* (Wisdom to see if the mist is a spell?)
NARRATOR: (yes, the skill to use would be insight)
CIMORENE: (8)
NARRATOR: *it seems like normal mist to you*
CIMORENE: (hmmm)
CIMORENE: *she just keeps watch, then)
NARRATOR: (you wanna roll on that?)
CIMORENE: (sure)
CIMORENE: (14)
NARRATOR: (lol!)
NARRATOR: *things seem fine*
CIMORENE: *and we're watching, we're watching.....*
NARRATOR: (sorry there)
NARRATOR: *hours pass*
NARRATOR: (observe again or whatever you want to do)
CIMORENE: (observe...... 13)
CIMORENE: (sense power..... 12)
NARRATOR: (ah ha!) NARRATOR: *you can sense the presence from before having come closer and is in the trees*
NARRATOR: *it is not nearly as powerful as the wizards in prescence*
NARRATOR: *but still somewhat powerful*
CIMORENE: *she tenses and draws back her bow slowly, not planning on allowing anything to hurt her friends. She moves closer to them all, pointing her bow to the trees*
NARRATOR: *silence*
NARRATOR: *well not complete silence, there are forest night noises*
NARRATOR: *hours pass*
CIMORENE: (sense power again.... 13)
NARRATOR: *you can feel the same presence, it is a cunning one, in the trees above, unmoving*
NARRATOR: *daylight is begginnig to come up over the trees and the mist is slowly letting up*
NARRATOR: *birds are starting to chirp*
CIMORENE: *she speaks softly in Elven* If you are foe, get you gone, if you are friend, get you down here
NARRATOR: *silence from you supposed target*
NARRATOR: *another hour*
NARRATOR: (observe check)
CIMORENE: (18)
NARRATOR: *you very very very faintly hear a rustling that sounds further and further off in the distance*
NARRATOR: *in the tree tops*
CIMORENE: *she relaxes a little, easing down with the bow*
NARRATOR: *another hour or so goes by*
NARRATOR: *Radagast is the first to wake as the sun officially rises*
NARRATOR: Radagast:*smiling*You are true to your word.
CIMORENE: *she is standing easily, smiling at the rising sun* Indeed, my lord....
NARRATOR: *radagast notices the pause and looks at you*
CIMORENE: *she smiles at him, shaking her head* nothing to worry about, my lord
NARRATOR: Radagast:*not quite convinced*Very well then*goes to wake Ulrich up*
CIMORENE: *she kneels beside Ipal and shakes him gently* Ipal.... time to wake up
NARRATOR: *Ipal grumbles in his sleep*
NARRATOR: Radagast:*once ulrich is awake*Perhaps we should have a wizards counsel?
NARRATOR: (end? or more?)
CIMORENE: (more if you're not too tired)
NARRATOR: (and i'm not)
CIMORENE: (on we go!)
NARRATOR: (continue, you're up)
CIMORENE: *she chuckles at Ipal then drapes her cloak over him and moves closer to the wizards* Indeed, my lords. Where do we go from here?
NARRATOR: Radagast:It is a very open road till you reach the sea of rhun. The river flows from the lonely mountain itself if you needed a landmark of sorts. There is a forest on the north-eastern side and from there I have gone no further.
NARRATOR: Ulrich:How did you wish to proceed Cimorene?
CIMORENE: Well.... the Blue ones were last seen in the East, so I say we go as far East as we can. Once we reach the Sea of Rhun, we can charter a ship after we ask around about the wizards
NARRATOR: Radagast:If indeed there is such civilization. I fear for what they may do when seeing a lady of your particular grace*goes into thought*
NARRATOR: Ulrich:That sounds like a good plan. I am sure that two such wizards would be great in renown in those parts.
CIMORENE: *she blinks at him* I can take care of myself, my lord..... they surely must be just peasants
NARRATOR: Radagast:I honestly do not know how just or not. I do not know if our blue brothers succeeded or failed.
CIMORENE: Well, we have nothing to fear from them as long as we do not harm them, right?
NARRATOR: Radagast:I hope so.
NARRATOR: Radagast:*out of thought now and back in the moment*I will lead you that far and then I must go on my way to Minas Tirith.
NARRATOR: Ulrich:I understand master.
CIMORENE: Indeed, my lord.... I had hoped not to trouble you even this far
NARRATOR: Radagast:It is not trouble Cimorene. In fact I haven't journeyed so for a great many years and could use the excercise*smiles*.
CIMORENE: *she grins back*
NARRATOR: Radagast:*serious again*Now of Alatar*he speaks to you*
NARRATOR: Radagast:I recall him being a just one. He did not wish to do his travels alone and asked that his friend Pallando would be allowed with him of the Valar.
CIMORENE: My lord.... if they did not free the Easterlings, then what have they been doing all thus time?
NARRATOR: Radagast:As you can surmize this was granted and the two happily went off east to do good works.
NARRATOR: Radagast:To answer your question, I have nearly no answer to give you except to see them yourselves and find out*thinking again*.
NARRATOR: Ulrich:I suppose that is all we can do*to you*.
CIMORENE: *she nods* We should press on, my lords
NARRATOR: *they nod in affirmation*
NARRATOR: Ulrich:*to you*did you want to wake him?
CIMORENE: *she nods and heads for Ipal, shaking him again* Ipal.... wake up, Ipal...
NARRATOR: *after a moment Ipal wakes up*
NARRATOR: Ipal:*clearly groggy*What is it?
CIMORENE: It's morning, friend. Time to awaken and be on our way
NARRATOR: Ipal:*face brightens*Ah. And a good morning it is. I think I shall put myself together.
NARRATOR: *Ipal goes about putting his plate mail on again*
NARRATOR: Radagast:*suddenly in the moment again*Did you feel that?
NARRATOR: *Ulrich shrugs and looks to you*
CIMORENE: *she stands suddenly, testing the air around her*
CIMORENE: (sense power)
CIMORENE: (15)
NARRATOR: (remember your +2 elf bonus for magic tests?)
CIMORENE: (16)
CIMORENE: (17)
NARRATOR: *you feel for a moment that presence in the trees far and high away*
NARRATOR: Radagast:*smiles*it would appear we have another guest.
NARRATOR: Ulrich:*to radagast*What do we do?
NARRATOR: Radagast:*to ulrich*I suggest we let him be.
CIMORENE: Not again..... *she draws her bow again* This precense was here last night
NARRATOR: Radagast:*surprised*Was it now? What happened?
CIMORENE: It just appeared, sat still for a few hours, then left when I asked it to appear
NARRATOR: *radagast starts thinking again*
NARRATOR: Ulrich:So many mysteries...
NARRATOR: Ipal:Well then shall we be off to find the clues we need?
CIMORENE: indeed..... *stares up at the trees* beginning with him
NARRATOR: Ulrich:*to you*What did you have in mind?
CIMORENE: I think I'll go talk to it
NARRATOR: *Ipal gives a smile to you of warrior pride*
NARRATOR: Radagast:*clearly amused*I won't stop you.
NARRATOR: Ulrich:*to you*Alone then?
NARRATOR: *Ipal just looks on*
CIMORENE: Ipal, protect the wizards. *she smiles at Ulrich* If I need help, I'll call. This power isn't so great
NARRATOR: Radagast:*to ulrich*She is right, apprentice.
NARRATOR: Ulrich:*to radagast and you*Fine then Cimorene, but be careful and be stealthy.
CIMORENE: *she nods, then leaps into the branches*
NARRATOR: (it's pretty high, you have to climb to get to them. a roll please)
CIMORENE: (13)
NARRATOR: *you BARELY make it to the first branch*
CIMORENE: *waits on the branch, casting Sense power to find out where it is*
CIMORENE: (16)
NARRATOR: *you feel the presence approximately 3 trees away*
CIMORENE: *mvoes through the branches as silently as she can towards the presence*
NARRATOR: (make a skill?)
CIMORENE: (stealth?)
NARRATOR: (stealth and definetly acrobatics to keep from falling)
CIMORENE: (stealth 11...... acrobatics...(12)
NARRATOR: *you start to slip on the narrow branch*
CIMORENE: *she gasps softly and tries to catch her footing*
NARRATOR: (roll again)
CIMORENE: (.......... 5)
NARRATOR: (.......uh oh...)
CIMORENE: (*laughs weakly*)
NARRATOR: (swiftness roll for falling damage)
CIMORENE: (10)
NARRATOR: *you crash to the ground taking 5 damage*
NARRATOR: (no armour remember)
CIMORENE: (clutsy elf)
NARRATOR: (wait!)
CIMORENE: *she cries out as she lands in an ungraceful heap*
NARRATOR: (don't you have a natural bonus to that skill?)
CIMORENE: (or not)
CIMORENE: (yikes!!!!! +$)
CIMORENE: (9 now)
NARRATOR: (and +4 to stealth rolls!)
NARRATOR: (rewind!)
CIMORENE: (ok, the stealth woud be 15, and the acrobatics 16)
NARRATOR: *you walk confidently on the branch*
NARRATOR: *and quietly*
CIMORENE: (ll)
NARRATOR: *you reach the next tree, the presence is still there another tree away*
CIMORENE: *moves even more silently and carefully, trying to sneak up on it*
NARRATOR: *you hear radagast in your mind suddenly "he is unaware of you, good work"*
NARRATOR: (another roll, another tree)
NARRATOR: (just acrobatics, the stealth will stick on)
CIMORENE: (BOXCARS!!!!!!)
NARRATOR: (WHOA!)
CIMORENE: (17)
NARRATOR: *you've never felt so confident walking on a narrow tree branch. In true elf-fashion you confidently and quietly glide to the next tree*
NARRATOR: *there sits an impressed elf staring right at you with her hands at her hips clutching hilts*
CIMORENE: (........ a SHE-ELF?)
NARRATOR: (ya)
NARRATOR: elf:You are indeed resourceful. *she is deathly quiet*
CIMORENE: *she smiles at the girl, not showing her shocked reaction at all* Greetings, child.
NARRATOR: Elf:She smirks at the word "child". Indeed.
NARRATOR: (forgot the **)
CIMORENE: Why are you hiding up here all alone? Why did you not come down and join us?
NARRATOR: Elf:*ignores you*I don't suppose it will be at all possible for you to go down and say you never found me?
CIMORENE: Why should I?
NARRATOR: Elf:*sighs out stress*Because then things can go back as they should be. You've caught me at something of a disadvantage.
NARRATOR: (you are SO lucky you rolled boxcars...)
CIMORENE: Then tell me why you're here and I'll consider your offer
NARRATOR: Elf:I am here to be with you and not at the same time.
CIMORENE: *she blinks now* Explain.
NARRATOR: Elf:My job description would be that of a shadow.
NARRATOR: Elf:*to herself*Though some shadow I am to have you creep upon me.*she is upset with herself*
CIMORENE: A job description, eh? And who is your employer?
NARRATOR: Elf:*hears that comment and turns back to you*I think that is enough. What do you consider of my offer?
CIMORENE: *she smiles* Tell me the name of your employer and his reasons, and I will endeavor to forget your ever coming here
NARRATOR: Elf:*smiles sarcastically back*You will have to understand that I cannot give you that information.
NARRATOR: *you hear radagast in your mind"are you alright?"*
CIMORENE: Then you will have to understand why I'm going to yell for my companions right now to help me dispatch you *she is still smiling politely*
CIMORENE: "I am fine for the moment, my lord. be ready to move when I call"
NARRATOR: Elf:I was truly hoping to avoid that. There is no understanding we can come to then at all?
NARRATOR: *radagast thinks back to you"i shall"*
CIMORENE: Tell me the name of your employer
NARRATOR: Elf:And if i do?
CIMORENE: I will tell them not to hurt you
NARRATOR: *she seems poised for anything*
NARRATOR: Elf:So there is no way of you letting me be?
CIMORENE: Judging by your mysterious nature I can only assume that you mean us harm, and I cannot allow harm to come to my friends. if you tell me both the name of your employer and his reasons for having you shadow us, I will let you go
NARRATOR: Elf:Changing your mind again are you?*snickers*
CIMORENE: No. I already made that offer, and it hasn't changed. I was merely giving you options.
NARRATOR: Elf:Very well, I am employed by Luin-Ruth to shadow you and to see why you come east.
NARRATOR: Elf:You have my answer and what is your in return?
CIMORENE: *she smiles* And that person is who?
NARRATOR: *she stares at you resolutely*
CIMORENE: *she chuckles and waves a hand* be off then, child. I am bound to my word.
NARRATOR: Elf:*clearly surprised, she salutes you like an elf should*If we meet again I am indeed not worth the service i provide*she flickers a smile and slinks off in the trees*
CIMORENE: *she stifles a giggle then climbs down carefully*
NARRATOR: (roll)
CIMORENE: Someone is very interested(13)
NARRATOR: (how the game is played;-))
NARRATOR: *you climb down safetly enough*
NARRATOR: *the three come to you quickly*
NARRATOR: Radagast:What went on?
CIMORENE: Someone is very interested in what we are doing, my lords.... someone named Luin-Ruth
NARRATOR: *you realize it means "blue-anger" in high elvish suddenly*
NARRATOR: *radagasts eyes open quickly*
CIMORENE: *she blinks a few times* Blue-Anger.....
