Heralds of Woe:
The Wizards' Departure

One year ago, my friends and I discovered the Lord of the Rings Roleplaying game. We were so taken with this game that it has continued for more than a year. It is based on a d6 system, and there were three original players and a Narrator. Our Narrator went away to college, and our little game ended. However, the battle has just begun for my character, the beautiful Elven Wizardess, Cimorene.

Our Narrator may be at college, but the Internet is a wonderful invention. Over AOL Instant Messenger, the Narrator and I have been able to continue the adventures of Cimorene into a whole new world.

The following pages are the transcripts of the online gaming sessions between Cimorene and that Narrator. You can view this adventure as it unfolds, and follow Cimorene as she seeks love and peace in the world of Middle Earth!! Please be advised, this is taken directly from our gaming sessions, so there are a few things to know:

1) Things in parenthesis (like so) are called Out of Character remarks. These entries are questions and comments directly from me to the narrator. They could be comments, questions about the game that I asked, clarifications, and dice rolls.

2) To perform some actions, tasks, and spells, the players must make rolls with six-sided dice, or d6s. Depending on how the rolls compared to the number required to perform the desired action, the actions will fail or succeed.

3) There are also some random comments inside the Out of Character remarks, so please bear with me. I am in the process of weeding those out.

I suggest that you read both the Character Biography page and the Story Thus Far page before jumping into the transcripts.
