| August 22nd, 2001: U drove down to Jersey to meet me there so we could keep ur car there while we were in Vegas...We took the train back into the city and I worked while you chilled at my apartment... August 23rd, 2001: We left for VEGAS!!! =) August 23 - 27, 2001: OuR VeGaS TRiP =) ---> Click to experience Vegas all over again =) August 28 - 30, 2001: You stayed with me a few days after Vegas =) This day, we ordered Ollie's for dinner and then saw "American Pie 2" at the theatre across the street from me and then snuck into "Rush Hour 2" hehehe...sneaky, huh? Later that night, u gave me the treats u bought me from Cali =) I love my Hello Kitty piggy bank, Babes!!! Thank u =* The next day, we were supposed to go to Jersey to spend the day and then u were supposed to leave..but we ended up talking about Cali and all my insecurities...U showed me ur tapes...We were both a little edgy after, but then we talked and I asked if u could stay another day and u said yes =)...The next day, we went to Jersey and saw "Summer Catch" and then u dropped me off at the train station and we said "good-bye" cuz u were leaving for home from there =( September 11th, 2001: SAD DAY FOR THE NATION =( WTC TRAGEDY... I was at work when it happened...I had just gotten out of a meeting and was planning for the next day's show...I was on the phone setting up a guest when I heard on the scanner "A plane into the World Trade Center..." I immediately got off the phone and just listened to the scanner and tried to soak everything in...I couldn't believe it...I just kinda sat there in shock and amazement...It got super busy at work and in the middle of it all, I got a call from u...and hearing ur voice just made me want to cry...I dunno why...I guess it was because I had wished I was with u at that moment so that I was sure that u were safe...but hearing ur voice did make me feel better cuz it was comforting to me....*sigh*...it was a sad day...and it was definitely a day that changed things in everyone's lives, whether directly affected or not...=( September 13, 2001: U had told me about the Hello Kitty Journal u filled out...U left it under my bed and told me to read it...so I did when I got home...Although it was nice to read ur thoughts during those certain times...the content of the journal kind of made me sad b/c of the things u were feeling =( September 14 - 16, 2001: I came to see u for the weekend...I came late on Friday because u wanted to spend the morning with Rowie...and also because there was a bomb threat at Penn Station and I ended up taking a later train...ur parents got into a minor accident so u had to take care of them...I finally got to the train station and u met me =)...We went home and ate while watching "Double Take" on PPV...I napped and then later, we went to Giant to buy dinner and snacks...We just chilled at ur house that nite, watching TV and eating snacks...We watched "U've Got Mail" DVD and u showed me all the features on it...then we made <3 =)...We washed up and watched "Sweet November" and of course, I cried...=P...and u ended up sleeping in the room with me!!!! =) I was so happy =)..The next day, ur parents had a show so they left early...u cut my hair (thanks, Babes!)...I checked my voicemail and got the 2 voicemails u had left the day before about wanting the weekend to work out and to kind of forget about all our issues so that we could enjoy the weekend...=)...We went to Red Lobster for lunch...We wne to the mall and bought candy and ur new CD holder...we saw "O"...then we went home and just ate and watched TV until we went to sleep...but this time u had to sleep in ur room =(...The next day, Sunday, we ate some of the food we had bought at Giant...We got showered and dressed and went to Springfield mall...then on the way home, we stopped by Best Buy, which was a bad idea cuz we ended up getting into a fight =(...it ended out the weekend badly =(...I left u a little anniversary note on ur night table before i left cuz our anniversary was the next day and we weren't going to be together...U drove me to the train station and we said "good-bye" on icky terms =( September 17, 2001: HAPPY 14 MONTHS!!! U didn't call me all day or acknowledge the day =( I was upset (but didn't realize u had sent me a card which I didn't get until the next day)...I emailed u telling u I was botherd about the fact that u never mentioned our anniversary... September 18, 2001: I field produced a story for work and when I got home, I got the anniversary card u sent me =)...I called u and left a message apologizing for the email...that night we got into a fight on AIM and we were both really pissed off...We ended up not talking...=( But the next nite, u called me at work and u said that we should see each other the following weekend, but by that time, I had already agreed to work...U were annoyed and said forget it...and we were back to not talking again =( I didn't know where we stood...I was so confused... September 21 - 24, 2001: U came over an SURPRISED ME!!!!!! =) (u scared the sh*t outta me too! but it was so worth it seeing u!!!)...We hadn't been talking and I didn't know when we would talk again...it was a Friday nite and I had to work overnite...I was sleeping and all of a sudden u showed up in my room!!! I screamed at first b/c I didn't know what was going on and I was all discombobulated....and then I realized that u came up to surprise me =) I was so happy =) U bought McD's on the way so we ate that and watched TV...then we made <3 =)...The WTC telethone was on so we watched that before taking a shower...I worked and u chilled at my place...The next day, we watched "Hardball" and then had dinner at Ocean Grille for dinner...We had a few drinks there and then we went home and drank rum and cokes...The next day, we got into an argument b/c I brought up the whole wrong zip code thing on the anniversary card u sent and I was kinda annoyed about that...but then u got pissed off at me and we fought about it =( But we both let things go and enjoyed the rest of the day...We went to the 34th St. Structure and looked around...U bought a ribbed sweater and a tie...We ate at Sbarro for lunch and walked to the 42nd St. theatre...I bought u the NYC pic...We watched "The Glass House" at the big theatre and we took pics on the balcony =)...That nite, I had to work and u chilled at my place...The next day, we just chilled and stopped by Banana while we got chicken for dinner...We just ate and watched TV and I napped before work...U left that nite =( I took u to Penn Station and u left me =( Ur dad was picking u up from the station, but b/c of the train delay, everything got all screwy and u got home late! =( But everything worked out ok... |
