This day was our first "date." We went to Rainforest Cafe at Menlo Park Mall. The host said something about us being a cute couple =) He sat us "underneath the stars." Later that night, you and I got drunk (yes...drunk...not 'buzzed') at Rob's party. We drank Amaretto Sours and that "special" fruit punch I made. We sang outside with Sheila, Paulo and Rod. Then for some reason, we ended up in my parent's room...so drunk...and you took my hand and kissed it =) I melted!!! That was such a great feeling (even though you probably don't remember it.) We passed out for like 3 hours and we were kinda holding each other. Then we woke up and joined what was left of the party, which wasn't much. When everyone left, you and I hung out in the living room. You played "Anywhere for You" by the Backstreet Boys. You grabbed my hand and we started to dance in the dark...our first dance together =) Then you played "Hard to Say Good-Bye" by Boyz II Men and we danced to that too. That night, we ended up talking all night long again. You told me everything about Lory. I was so honored that you opened up and shared your story with me. I wanted so much to just hold you that night.
July 23, 2000:
You touched my back at Toys R Us, while we waited to be seated at Red Lobster. I loved your touch! That was my first time at Red Lobster...and I guess it's become a tradition ever since! You were supposed to leave that night, but you decided to stay an extra night and be with me for my birthday...how sweet!!!
July 24, 2000:
My 24th Birthday!!! My magical birthday. And you most certainly made it magical for me =) We went to that deli around the corner for lunch. Then we took a nap before we went out to my birthday dinner with my friends at Fujiyama Mama. After dinner, you had to leave for home and I had to go to work. We had to say "good-bye." But as I hugged you to say "good-bye" you kissed me on my lips. I totally wasn't expecting it and I didn't know how to react, but I was so happy! That was the greatest birthday present! *muah*
July 27 - 28th, 2000:
This is the day you decided to come and visit me on the spur of the moment. You had a project due that night, but you said if you completed it, you would come and see me. So, you finished it and you came up. I called out sick and met you in Jersey. We thought you weren't going to make it because you were getting on a reserved train without a reservation...oops! But you made it! That night, I gave you Jennie Bear, who I was supposed to send you in the mail....but didn't have to cuz I saw you instead =) You gave me my first 2 pictures of you. That night, we watched "The Whole Nine Yards" (which we promised each other we would do). After the movie, we laid in the dark for a long time and you played with my hair...and finally....after a few hours, we had our first kiss (July 28)...a moment I had been anticipating =) And it was even greater than I could have imagined =*
July 29, 2000:
The first time you gave me roses. You wanted to suprise me while I was at Miss Saigon and you ran out and got me a bunch of roses =) I dried some of them and still have them!
July 30, 2000:
Our first shower....hehehe!
August 4, 2000:
This was the original day you were supposed to come and visit me! But by then, it was your 3rd time seeing me =) You bought my my BBMak CD...thanks, Babes! We went to Christine's despedida.

My first time in Baltimore to see you=) We were supposed to go to Boston this weekend, but things didn't work out because of my paycheck. So I drove down to Baltimore to see you instead!!! We went to Cheesecake and saw "Autumn in New York." Sad movie =( Then we went home and you said something really special to me, and I'll never forget it...you said that I was the prettiest girl you had met since Lory...I didn't really know how to take the compliment, but it meant a lot to me. Thanks, Babes...
Later that night, you sang "Girl, It's You" to me in bed =) That's why I'll always consider it to be our song.
