remember when you held me close
& people would watch as they passed by
But whenever I’m with you I feel like

You’re the most remarkable guy
that I have ever met
and you have one of those faces
that I could never forget
When you told me you loved me
I can’t describe how you made me feel
It seemed so much like a dream
I couldn’t believe it was real

I feared it was all just a ploy
