Perfect…

When I saw you dying
I couldn’t believe my eyes
It all happened so fast
It took me by surprise

What I was feeling inside
I just can’t define
though I wish that I could turn

back the hands of time

There were things I never told you
I assumed you’d always be there
I took your presence for granted
But believe me I did care

I wanted to tell you before
But I thought you’d walk away
& Now I really regret it
coz you never heard what I had to say

I wanted to tell you that

beside you is where I want to be
Coz having you in my life
completes every part of me

And I wouldn’t give up one moment
Not a second that we spent together

Instead they’ll just be memories–
memories I’ll treasure forever.

Coz when you were still here
You might not have realized
But you have & will always be
