When we were all just kids
The world was filled with happiness nothing did we fear
but now that we’ve grown older
All that happiness disappeared

When we were all just kids
Anyone & Everyone we befriended
But now that we’ve grown older

Most of those friendships have ended

When we were all just kids

Life was about bunnies, ice creams, & rainbows

But now that we’ve grown older
It’s filled with heartbreak, pain, & sorrow

When we were all just kids
We smiled, some of us with dimples
But now that we’ve grown older
We frown, wishing life was just that simple!
