| My Review of horror movies, scale is 1-10. Darkness Falls- This is a good movie, one of the better horror movies this year so far. It has a very good plot, with very suspenseful scenes, this one will make you think twice before going into the dark. Rating-9 Signs- Awesome, better than most of the alien movies I've seen. Usually, they're always like, "hmm, maybe they exist, but maybe they don't," then it takes half an hour for any real evidence to appear, but this one gets right to the point. Terrific plot and storyline, the ending left something to be desired, but still pretty good. Rating-9 The Others- Very scary movie, one of the movies that makes you jump out of your seat, the plot is very confusing though, and it has an ending that I'm not to fond of. Rating-5 Thirteen Ghosts- This is one of the few horror movies where the plot is just as good as the action. Very good special effects and like I said, very good plot. It's kind of confusing at first but it all becomes clear at the end. Rating-8 The Sixth Sense- Fairly scary, more of a mystery than a horror but its up there. The plot is OK, the end is like "The Others", but I think it fits better in this movie than in the other one. Rating-6 The Faculty- It's not one of the jump out of your seat horror flicks, but it is just as scary, and it kind of gets you thinking about your own teachers. Good plot, lots of action. Rating-7 Joy Ride- I didn't like this show, parts just didn't fit together, and I just didn't find it that scary, plot was ok at best. Rating- 4 |
