| I have to say that my favorite kind of movie is a comedy, so, as a way to kill some time, I'm going to review some comedy movies |
| Review of Comedy Movies Scale of 1-10 Starsky and Hutch- Hilarious, this was a very good flick. It had a lot of great acting, and a lot of cool cars. The plot and storyline were also very good. Rating- 8 50 First Dates- Very good movie. The plot was great, the story was good, and most of it was very funny. The movie moved along very smoothly and is all in all just a good watch. Rating- 9 Eurotrip- pretty funny movie, it doesn't have a lot in the plot department, but it does have a whole lot of great jokes and funny scenes. If you like American Pie, you'll like this movie as well. Rating- 8 Stuck on You- I liked this movies storyline, it has a nice flowing plot and some very funny parts in the middle. It is not a movie to go to if you want to laugh the whole time, but it has it's funny moments. Rating-8 Love Actually- I actually liked this movie, it had a good plot, a lot of good plots actually, some humor in the right places, and a good ending. There are some stories in there that I think the movie could have done without though. Rating- 8 School Of Rock- AWESOME, this is the best movie I've seen all year. It rocks, in more ways than one. Lots of great music, a good plot, and just all around coolness. Rating -10 American Wedding- This movie ROCKS, its hilarious, all the same things we loved about the first two, and more. The plot is even good in this one as well. Rating-8 Dumb and Dumberer- I was impressed, I thought this would just be another dumb prequal (and in many ways it was), but it had a lot of funny parts. And the plot wasn't half bad either. Rating-8 Bruce Almighty- This movie is great, it is full of hilarious slapstick comedy, mixed in with just about everything else. The plot is great too, don't be discouraged if you think that it is sacreligious or anything, because it's not. Rating-9 Dumb and Dumber- I first saw this movie a long time ago, but it just now dawned on my to review it, in all its comedic glory. This is the GREATEST movie ever made. Not only is it hilarious, its plot ain't half bad either. Jim Carey and Jeff Daniels were the perfect people for this movie. Rating-11! (yes, it's that good) How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days- Good movie, kinda predictable but still had some great comedy scenes, pretty good plot. Rating-7 Bringin' Down The House- Awesome, one of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time. I've never seen a movie that uses ebonics as humorously as this one, also has a nice plot and some brief kinda cool fight scenes. Rating-9 My Big Fat Greek Wedding- I am well aware that this is a part love movie, but that didn't seem to matter to me. This is a terrific movie with a great plot and non stop laughs. It didn't have the normal plot twists of a normal love movie, it didn't get all sad in the middle by making them mad or screwing something up, which made me like it all the more. Rating-9 Austin Powers: Goldmember- Hilarious, just as good as the first two (maybe better). More plot than the second movie so I like it more, and the opening scene is awesome. Rating-9 Saving Silverman- Great movie, nice plot, very fast paced, has a lot of hilarious slap stick comedy. Rating-9 Wrongfully Accused- Another work of art with Leslie Neilson, just one of those all out comedies that stop at nothing to make a joke, awesome, pretty good plot. Rating-9 Tommy Boy- One word, awesome! This movie has it all, slapstick, witty, and just some of the best jokes I've ever heard, Chris Farley and David Spade are an awesome combination. Rating- 10 This section of my review is devoted completely to Mel Brooks Movies because I think that Mel Brooks is a comedy genius, not only does he produce he also acts in his movies. Blazing Saddles- Hilarious, just all out great comedy, it has a good plot also and the cast did very good. Rating-7 Robin Hood Men in Tights- Very good plot, good humor and good fight scenes. Rating-8 SpaceBalls- Awesome, it was just hilarious non stop humor, very good parodies of other space shows, I particularly like Pizza-The-Hut. Rating-9 Dracula Dead and Loving it- Another Mel Brooks masterpiece, very funny, good plot as well. Rating-8 Young Frankenstein- Good plot, not as funny as some of his other work, but it has its good points. Rating- 6 History of the World Part I- Hilarious, the plot is awesome in every adventure, I am especially fond of the preview for Part II with the Jews in space. Rating- 8 |
