| The mushroom is a type of fungi. The mushroom is used in many tyes of foods but some fungi are extremely deadly and poisonous. The mushroom is a parasitic organism. It is heterotrophic so it does not make it's own food. Mushrooms can be found on dead logs. Most live in moist climates but, as you can see, some species of mushrooms can live in desert climates. People must be very careful with eating mushrooms becuase as I said earlier, some can be very dangerous. I guess when you some kids say they don't not want to eat their mushrooms, now they have a good enough reason! |
