The Preziosa and Guido Cat Web Adventure
Preziosa's Story
As far as I know,
I was informed that Guido and I were found under a house deck in Long Island, New York when we were just about two weeks old.  There were five of us kittens in all, in the litter.
We were cold and hungry and our furry mom left the nest in search of food.  We waited and waited feeling rather helpless.  During this time my little sister became increasingly delicate and so we huddled around her to comfort and warm her.  We licked her repeatedly nevertheless; she just lay therea limp lifeless form.
Since my furry mom never returned to the nest, it seems plausible that something uncanny happened to her. The night was silent and we all huddled together for warmth and comfort.  My mom, I believe is most probably in that special place too, beyond the rainbow, and happy to be with my sister.  I feel this in my bones.
There is not a day that passes when I dont think about my furry mom.  I will always remember her warm belly, her soft fur, her guiding paw and her lovable licks.  She was truly the cats pajamas.
My brother, sister, Guido and I were all bottle fed by a woman named Janet, until a reverend in Islip, Long Island adopted my brother and sister, and Guido and I stayed with a woman in Islip whom we fondly call Grandma Barbara.  She wanted very much to adopt us, but she already had four cats and rather frequent visits from a feral cat named Shadow, who had a hearty appetite.

FAQ
Nevertheless, word got around by catalogue, catapults, cat calls, cat houses, cat birds to alley catters, catamarans, across cat walks, through catacombs, to catfish, cattle, cattails, caterpillars, caterwauls, and  CAT scans.
Whispers traveled throughout the Catskills and to all
Catophiles and Cataholics everywhere that Guido and
I needed a permanent and loving home.
One sunny afternoon when we were about 10 weeks old, a rather enthusiastic, dark-haired woman with penetrating eyes named Chiara, walked into our living room.  It was love at first sight.  She doted all over us, and spent a good many hours at the house playing with us and interacting in various activities with house members both human and animal.  Then the decisive moment arrived. She was so love struck, that it was impossible for her to leave Long Island without us.  We all piled into Aunt Leslies car, and away we traveled to Chelsea, New York City.
Poem
No where could my mom be seen. Tears filled my eyes as I leaned over that fragile little ball of fur.  She would never ever mew again.  It hurts my throat when I think of that little creature, so tiny, so cold and so hungry. Yet she will always be in my thoughts happily running and playing across the clouds and the rainbow bridge with all the other animals that have passed from this planet earth life.

That evening we explored our new home in Chelsea and got to sleep in the bed with our new mom Chiara.  Funny thing, we popped right out of that cat taxi as if we had already been in her apartment.  Another oddity, my new mom was born under the astrological sign of Leo the Lion, just like usa very befitting coincidence I dare say.
