| Next came the long and some what boring part, we each took turns picking out each individual ant, one by one, and dropping them into the arena (the arena is an area where the ants can come out of the nest, but cannot escape, it's like a fenced in yard with a door{the tube} going into the nest{see figure 9}). this part alone took about 5 hours (see figures 8, 9, and 10). |
