Comments:  Man this took some time.  This was the third image requested of me by the leader of the Digimon Warriors thread on Ryuxforums.  I had the rough image of it's face in my head, but once I drew that I got stuck!  The next thing to come were the arms, making it a bit gorilla-like, so I continued that theme with the chest.  I tried drawing in the legs time and again, but eventually I just had to put it down for a while.  After a time I went back to it, and the rest just came together.  I had a bit of trouble on the perspective of the legs, but other than that, no trouble.  I don't know what had happened before.
It's very difficult for me to use my copic markers now as most of them have run dry.  But I was pretty sure the brown markers would still be good and wouldn't run dry half way through the drawing (there's nothing worse!), so decided to try my luck.
It went really, really well.  Luckily I had enough markers to not only do the base colour, but also to add layers of shade.  I really like how the white turned out.
Now, I'm not very good with backgrounds, so when I decided to put one in for this, I was taking a gamble.  I knew what I wanted it to look like, well, roughly, but could I achieve it.  The main problem was getting the colours.  I would have liked to add more to the sky, a few lighter bits here and there, but I don't have enough markers any more.  I made the moon dark instead of light, this was purely to save the hassle of having to do a glow around it.  The reflection I did in pencil, I then used white to blend the colour and give it an extra bit of light.
The light source is coming from the left, but that wouldn't necessarily have a lot of impact on the tail, so I just had to go by what felt right.
I'm very happy with this.  Okay, so the background could have gone better, but for my first full background it's good, and Manticormon turned out very well, especially the mane.
