Minlee walked out of the kitchen. She was holding a whip in her hands. She backed away, giggling, after she handed the whip to mom. I knew what was coming.Why didn't I run? I just closed my eyes. Did that mean I admitted defeat? The whipping sounds was loud. I felt each whip seeping through my skin. Blood was slowly, thickening and moving down my back. My shirt is already soaked. I opened my eyes-I saw Minlee standing there, enjoying herself. A great day with Minwoo ended with a painful night! Whip-whip-whip. It was deafening. 'When is she going to stop? Don't she see the pain I'm going through? Hasn't she had enough? Don't she see the blood? Don't she--- Chapter 10 'What happened? Did I blackout again?' I was already in my room. I sat up on my bed. "Ouch!" My slits are still there. Blood is still flowing down my back. Some had probably frozen and stopped. But the pain was still there. I tried taking a cloth to wipe off the blood, but I didn't have enough energy to do anything. The blood didn't rub off, so I stopped. I tried to walk towards the window and sit on the edge. My whole body was aching but I couldn't fall back to sleep. I wanted to think. It was still dark out. The moon was still shining brightly. I stared at it. 'I wonder what Minwoo is doing? Is he watching the moon too?' Then I remembered those exact words that he said, Yes, it's beautiful.just like you. I was confused. 'Was he flirting with me? Did he really want me to run away with him?' All night I thought to myself about running away with Minwoo. I asked every question there was. "That's it!" I ran towards my closet and took out my backpack. I stuffed my clothes in it. I packed and glimpsed at the door at the same time. I was worried that someone was gonna come in. When I was done, I just went to sleep. 'Am I making the right decision?' Chapter 11 I woke up the next morning, tired and hurt. My back still hurts and my heart is still aching. I wasn't even sure about what I'm gonna do. But I just walked down stairs to see what was going. Minlee was on the couch eating, while watching TV. Dongwan was screaming for me. "Sakura! You lazy bitch, come down here to cook. I'm ***** hungry!" I ran downstairs right away. Mom smacked mw in the face and said that I was lazy and was trying to avoid my chores. So, she told me to go shopping with Minlee. Minlee is a shopping freak. When she goes to the mall, she would have, like, 300 bucks with her. She would walk around for 5 hours, looking for clothes. I know that it's not that bad, but I actually have to carry all those stuff. She would have me hold all of the bags, or should tell mom to whip me. Sometimes I'm afraid, but today I'm glad that we went out. I had to find a way to see Minwoo. Getting lost in the mall is the perfect way! When I heard that mom wanted me to go with Minlee, I was so happy that it might have made mom suspicious. "Minlee, do you need any money? I have some for you!" "Thanks, mom! Can have, like, 400 bucks? I need new shoes, clothes, and stuff!" "Ok, just let Sakura hold all your stuff. She doesn't mind! DO you, Sakura?" I couldn't believe she asked me that! I mean, who wants to be pushed around like a slave? I wanna know how she would feel! I couldn't say anything, though. Mom had this.smile on. I just wanna what she's thinking. Every time I see that smile, it made me scared. It felt like she was gonna whip me again or something. It felt like something bad is gonna happen. "Yeah.I don't mind.I'll hold all of your stuff." So, we left the house right away. Mom looked like she wanted to talk to Minlee. Her eyes kept winking at Minlee. I knew she was never a good actor. But Minlee is even stupider. She didn't notice mom at all. As soon as she got the money, she started dragging me out the door. Mom said to be careful, but you already know that Minlee never pays attention. When we got to the mall, Minlee kept holding on to my hands. I couldn't get away from her at all. I tried. She even ate at the mall! I was hoping that she would go to the bathroom or something, but she was always cautious. But then my chance came. Minlee loves to try on clothes. So, all I did was tell her that she would look great in one of those clothes. She jumped up right away! "OoOoO.I should try it on then!" "I'll wait right here. Ok?" "Whatever.Just don't wander off somewhere." 'Yeah Right. My plan IS to wander off and leave you here.' I gave her a smirk. She just went into the fitting room, leaving me.
