"Where have you been?" She yelled at me really loud. I blushed and was mad at her at the same time. I couldn't believe she's yelling at me right in front of Minwoo. It was kind of embarrassing. I mean, there it was, an 18 years old girl being yelled by her mom in front of another guy.
I still couldn't believe that she was yelling at me. Minlee and Dongwan was still giggling in the background of the noise. I looked at them while grinning really hard. I just wanted to cry again. I mean, what did I do? I was hit by a car, and I come home to this shit. "You brought a boy home? You've been gone for more than a month, and you come home with a boy?" I was about to answer everything that she asked. I was about to just scream everything out, but. "Shut up! I don't even wanna hear about it. It's probably another one of your dumb excuses." She didn't even wanna listen. What ever I say would not matter to her. That was sick! I couldn't stand that. I couldn't just stand there and wait for mom to stop yelling at me. I had to do something! I forgot all about Minwoo being there. Mom was about to hit me! She drew her belt closer and closer to me. I closed my eye because I knew what was coming. I waited and waited.but I didn't feel anything! I opened my eyes, and I saw Minwoo holding the the belt. He had stopped my mom just in time. I ran up to my room and just stayed there. I didn't know what to do. Was I supposed to go back down there to talk with my mom again? Was I supposed to go down there so she could hit me? I just didn't know. Chapter 8 2 weeks later. "Hey.Hey.Hello? Sakura? Are you there?" I came out of the shower and got dressed. I heard someone calling my name outside. So, I opened the window to listen. It was Minwoo. "Minwoo? What are you doing here? I'm gonna get caught!" "I'm here to say goodbye! I'm going back to college in Korea in 2 days. I may never get to see you again. Can you come out?" "umm.sure! My mom's not home. I can sneak out!" "Ok.I'll wait for you in the car!" I started running down the steps. I was so happy to get out of the house once in a while. I was gonna see Minwoo! But then, Minlee came out of no where and just blocked the exit door. "And.Where are you going?" "Minlee, I don't have time to argue with you. I have to go to store to buy something! It's important. Now, MOVE!" Minlee wouldn't move. I had to go. This might be the last time I get to see Minwoo. I had to push Minlee out of the way. She landed on the stairs. I think she was hurt badly. But I didn't care. It was her fault. I saw Minlee's lips bleeding. I was about to help her, but the car was honking, so I had to go. I just left her, and got out of the house! I got into Minwoo's car and he just drove for like 3 hours. I didn't know where we going. But I trusted Minwoo. I fell asleep during the first hour. When I woke up, we stopped at a parking lot. "Where are we, Minwoo?" "We're going to my favorite restaurant. It has great food. We can talk together over dinner. You're gonna love it here!" "Great!" Minwoo don't lie. It was true. The food there were delicious! The restaurant was outdoor. So, I could smell the breeze. The environment is really great there. Minwoo talked the whole time while we were there. I stayed shut, because I wanted to eat. I haven't eaten like that ever since dad died. It got dark. Then Minwoo and I just sat there staring at each other. Minwoo's brown eyes glistened and I couldn't keep my eyes off him. I looked up to see the sky. Every night, I would look at the moon. I had to see it today. Chapter 9 I tried opening the door quietly, hoping no one is still awake. I was almost off the hook, but mom jumped out of no where, scaring me like hell. She started to scream at me. "Do you know what time it is? You were supposed to be home to cook for your cousins while I was gone! Where did you go? You were with that boy again, huh? You're like a toilet in front of our house.
