"What do you mean?" asked Minwoo.

Her grandma sighed and tears fell down her eyes.

"My granddaughter will live to be happy. the doctors won't help her anymore, because she doesn't have enough money to pay them. Her parents had disown her..." said her grandma.

"Please don't let Suji see you. You have cause enough damage..."

"I'm sorry..." said Minwoo.

Minwoo walked away and thought.

"Her parents disowned her??"

Suji kept looking down at the water.

"Maybe, I should just give up..." she thought.

"There's nothing left for me anymore...."

She closed her eyes and thought of her gone.

"even if I'm gone, nobody will even notice that I'm gone...." said Suji.

"I will...."

She turned and open her eyes. There was Minwoo, standing in front of her.

"Oh...why are you here?" she said.

"I came to tell you something..." said Minwoo.

"Go ahead..." she said.

" Suji, I'm sorry about how I acted. The truth is that you're the one I..." his voice faded.

"I can't say it...." he thought. "Do I really love her??"

Suji smiled.

"It's okay, I forgive you, I mean....it's almost time for me to go" said Suji.

"Do you really have to go??" he said.

"Yeah, my life has been nothing to me" said Suji.

Minwoo grabbed her shoulders.

"I love you..." he kissed Suji on the lips.

Suji closed her eyes.

"I love you too...." she thought.

She pushed him away.

"I'm sorry, Minwoo. I have to go...I love you" she said and wiped away her tears. "I'm happy

that I got to know you..."

"Suji...wait.." he grab her hand.

She looked into his eyes.

"I'm happy that I met you...." he said.

He hugged Suji. She closed her eyes and tears fell down her cheeks.

She felt her life parting and her body feeling numb.

"Minwoo...good-bye" she said, "I'll confess that I loved you back in high school when you saw me crying under the tree....I had to leave and leave you. I don't want to leave you but..."

Her voice faded away and she stopped breathing. Her heart stopped and Minwoo still held her in his arms.

"Suji...." he cried.

Minwoo stepped out of the car, carrying a bouquet of white roses. As he walked down the path, he could feel his tears falling down. when he reached everybody else, he noticed that all of them were crying.

He reached his hand into the her ashes and spread them in the water. Tears came running down.

Ch. 7

Minwoo sat in Suji's room helping her grandma pack up her stuff.

"I can't believe she left this world..." said Minwoo.

He picked up Suji's old dairy. He opened it and looked at the pages.

"Oct. 22

Today, it rained and I felt my heart crying. I started to cry, because my parents were arguing about Keiko's grades. Her grades are so bad, but really those grades are mine.

You see me and Keiko trades place. Sometimes I'm Keiko and sometimes I'm myself. My parents think of me as the bad girl, but really I'm the good one. Whenever, she's me, she always get in trouble. While I was crying, I ran to a place near my school. I sat under a tree that covered me from the rain. As I was crying, a boy came by and sat under the tree too. he asked me why I was crying. I didn't answer. His face seem gentle and sweet. He told me his name and told me not to cry anymore. I still remember his name, Minwoo. I think i'm starting to fall for him. This all..."

Minwoo looked at the next page.

"Nov. 27

Today, I'm being sent to live with my grandma in Daegu, because I was blamed for Keiko's own fault. She came to me and said ' Suji, please go live with grandma and let me stay...'

I asked her why and she told me that she had got into a huge fight and our parents was senting her away. I decided to go for her, since I'm younger and my parents thinks that I was the one who got into the fight.

As I was leaving to go to the car, the boy, Minwoo stood by the gate smiling. Ever since that day we met, we have become good friends. He asked for my picture and I handed to him.

'where are you going?' he asked me. I told him a lie, saying that I was just going out, but that was the last time I have seen him.

I miss him..."

Minwoo stopped and took out the picture of Suji. He glanced at it and finished reading the last sentence of her entry.

"I'll confess that I loved you back in highschool when you saw me crying under the tree....I had to leave and leave you. I don't want to leave you but... I had to"
