"There's so much that I don't understand...about you" he said. ch. 4 Minwoo woke up and saw Keiko staring down at him. He quickly lift his head up. "Keiko..." he said, smiling. "You're awake..." She nodded and he hugged her. "I'm sorry... please forgive me..." he said. "I'll try to be a better man.." "Minwoo...I miss you" said Keiko. They both started to cry. "I'm sorry for crying...but I can't keep it in" said Minwoo. He moved back and wipe away her tears. "I was so afraid that I was gonna lose you...." he said. He kissed her on the lips As Minwoo kissed her. To Keiko, it seem like his kiss was a medicine that made her well each time he kissed her lips. He held her in his arms. After their kiss ended. He sat down next to her, touching her hair. "Keiko..." he said. "I'm sorry..." "t's okay. It was my fault..." she said. "No...I should have just stayed with you" he said. "Minwoo...please don't blame yourself" she said. Suji woke upand Minwoo was gone. "he must had gone to work..." she thought. She looked out the window and saw the city people rushing about in the streets. feel so stupid..." she said and stood up from her bed. The door swing open and the doctor walked in. "Suji...." he said. "What is it?" she asked. "m.... we need to take some blood test" he said. "Why?" she asked. " Is something wrong with me?" "No...." he said. "Then why do I need to do some blood test?" she asked. "Please just do as I say" said the doctor. She nodded and let the doctor that her blood. That whole day, Minwoo never cam back to visit her. She ate lunch alone, wondering what was going through her body. She sighed and pushed her food aside and went to sleep. She wasn't quite asleep yet and could still hear the hospital people talking. The door open and a nurse came in to take away her lunch, then another person walked in. "Miss...." it said. "Huh?" said the nurse. "Please don't let her go any where okay. In her condition, we should keep our eyes on her more" "Yes....doctor" said the nurse. "There is something wrong with me" she thought. Minwoo sat at home, staring at the old memories. He smiled when he saw Keiko's old highschool picture. Then, something hit him. He stared at the picture longer. "I don't remember reading this note on the back" he said and read the note on the back. "To Minwoo, It was cool meeting you and getting to know you, but I'm sorry, I can't stay and get to know you better. We could've been the best of friends (maybe). I just hope that you'll cherish this picture of me. Sincerely, Suji" Minwoo thought back, trying to remember the time when he received the picture. He gasped. "Suji...." he said. Keiko closed her eyes and dreamed about seeing her sister. She dreamed about meeting angels and flying around the whole world. When she finally woke up, it was only one in the morning. She looked around the rooma nd felt her sight going into blur. When she knew it she had fallen back to sleep, dreaming about nothing. She was awaken by a nurse. "Miss....eat your breakfast" she said. "I'm not hungry..." Keiko said. "You must eat" she said. She sighed and took the chopsticks into her hands. She ate slowly trying to think clearly. "Where's MInwoo??" she asked the nurse. The nurse was silent and didn't say anything. "Am I gonna die??" said Keiko. The nurse rushed out the door and never came back. As Keiko ate, little tears fall down her cheeks. "I am gonna die just like Keiko did. Or even worse...I miss MInwoo. Where is he? How long have I not seen him?" said Keiko. Minwoo sat across from Keiko's parents. " Is this true?? You have replaced Keiko with her younger sister?? I feel so disappointed. How could you two do this??" said Minwoo. "Minwoo....we're sorry" said her parents. "son...let's just forget about this..." said his parents. "No....I can't love that girl anymore. She and her family took the girl I love most away from me...." said Minwoo. "So...the wedding??" asked his mom. Keiko got out of the bed. The docter came in. "Keiko....You may go home now..." he said. She nodded. "Doctor...I know that something is wrong with me, but don't worry. I'll fix it on my own" said Keiko and walked out. When she reached the lobby, her heart started to hurt more than before she pretended to be Keiko. She tried to take a deep breath and make the pain go away. She smiled and looked up. She gasped. "Minwoo..." she said. He stood five feet away from her. "We have to talk. It's about us" he said. Keiko followed Minwoo outside. They sat down on a bench outside of the hospital. "What is it?" she asked and smiled. Minwoo cleared his throat. "Suji...right??" he said. She looked at him and nodded. "Why did you pretend to be Keiko?" he said. "I'm sorry. I don't know, my parents told..." "Enough about that! I'm sick of it. Is this why you act like you had lost your memory to back up your story? Tell me..." he said. Tears fill her eyes. "Yes..." she said. "Do you even think that I would love you?" he asked. "No..." she said. "Why did you lie to me? Why did you hide this from me? Is this why you let that guy kiss you? Answer me and stop crying. Crying those tears will not make me forgive you" he said. "I'm sorry. I'll leave now..." said Keiko. She stood up and walked away. "Keiko is not your name....take your own name back. You don't deserve her name.." said Minwoo. She nodded and walked away. "Keiko...I knew that this was impossible. It was too good to be true. Anyways, I need to worry about my health. I'll fly back to Daegu and continue my life. Minwoo...I love you...." thought Suji. Ch. 5 It has been a whole since the accident. Minwoo slept in his bed alone, wondering if what he did was right. He sighed and closed his eyes. "when will this pain be over???" he wonder. Suji was now herself again. She stood out on the porch wondering if her sister would ever come back. "Suji...." said her grandma. "Halmoni...." said Suji. Tears fell down her eyes. "Suji... please don't cry..."she said. Suji sighed and went back into the house. "it was never meant to end like this...." she heard her grandma say. She ignored it and thought: "I blew it..." She sat in her bed. "Somehow, I don't feel like myself anymore. Ever since I've been with Minwoo. I used to being happy. I guess that's how Keiko felt..." said Suji. The door opened and her grandma walked in. "Suji...you have a phone call" she said. "okay..." said Suji and grabbed the phone. "Hello??" There was no answer but she could hear someone breathing at the other end. "Hello?? Is someone there??" she said. She sighed and hunged up. "This is weird. Everything is changing faster than I have expected it to...I'm not used to being alone" she said. Minwoo sat in his room feeling a scar in his heart. "What have I done?? Now, I've lost her" he said. He sighed and looked out the window. "She was kind and loved me more than Keiko had...Keiko and I weren't always so happy. We argued a lot, but when I met Suji. I knew something was wrong. We never had I single fight...she was always sad" said Minwoo. He got up and went to the bathroom to look at himself. He had grown a beard and had not been sleeping well. "I miss her...I want her back. I don't care anymore..." he said. Suji sat by the park, watching little kids play on the swings. As she was sitting, she got a phone call from her doctor. "Miss Suji, can you come in today?" he asked. "Yes...Why?" she answered. "Your illness...I'm afraid it's getting worst..." said the doctor. "I hope this right..." thought Minwoo and walked into the airplane. Ch. 6 Suji stood by the bridge looking into the water. "I'm sorry we can't help you...." the words kept repeating in her head. Suji cried and the tears fell into the water. The thought of leaving Minwoo was hard. "Do you even think that I would love you?" Minwoo's words hurted her the most. She sighed and tried to think of the good things, but there wasn't any. Her life was never happy, it was always dark and sad. Minwoo looked down at the piece of paper Suji's mother had written her address on. He looked up at the house and smiled. He picked up his bag and opened the gate. When he went in a group of girls walked past him. "I feel so sorry for her. She's leaving everyone..." he heard them say. He didn't care and ran up the stairs. When he reached the door, where it lead to where Suji and her grandma lived. he knocked on the door and an old lady came to answer. "Minwoo?? What are you doing here?" she asked. "You must be Suji's grandma...where's Suji?" said Minwoo. "She...went to the bridge to think. Why are you here?" said her grandma. "I'm here to apoloize.." he said. "That won't matter anymore, Minwoo" said her grandma. Page 1/ Page 2/ Page 3/ Page 4/
