Fire And Rescue Association Agreement has been made between PCPI and FARA on 1.6.2004 in Hong Kong . Both parties agreed to accept each other's certificates as stated in the agreement and where necessary to convert the respective certificate to local requirements. Useful and constructive activities between two parties such as friendly visit, exchanges of bilateral views on updated medical field, training methods and pre-hospital care knowledge and techniques should be held in due course. FARA is established by Mr. TOM Kanathat Chantrsiri who is a fire adviser for a number of private companies and lectures to officials from the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration to the Police Department, etc. FARA is a non-profit and non-governmental organization. They provide fire safety, rescue service, first aid / CPR, EMS (Emergency Medical Service) and all kinds of other safety courses to the public. FARA has three main activities, the first of which is to teach children the "Learn not to burn" curriculum..............They are trying to create a more safe and less risky environment to all in the world, not just Thailand. FARA has won wide recognition in Thailand.

Shenzhen Shan Xia Hospital Shanxia Hospital offers a full complement of services to the citizen of Ping Wu. Located in the heart of Ping Wu, it operates Accident and Emergency Services and a full spectrum specialist services. It provides medical care in both inpatient and specialist outpatient services. A co-operation agreement has been made between PCPI and the Hospital since 4.1.2004. Under the co-operation agreement, a training base has been set up in the hospital where PCPI can make use of two of their training rooms for our members' activities ranging from theoretical / practical lessons to gatherings. PCPI can conduct both ambulance and clinical attachment to the ambulances and Accident, Emergency Department (A & E Dept) as well as the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Hospital respectively for our trainees' on-site job training. As such, students of Basic / Advanced Trauma Life Support Courses can make a favourable time to strengthen their views of various kinds of traumatic incidents and obtain the in-depth practical lessons themselves through such attachment. In addition, a variety of pathological cases also can be observed in the A & E Dept and ICU. PCPI had provided a two days refresher training on Trauma Life Support for the doctors and nurses of the hospital. |
