David and I met in the winter of 2001. David was working on his honors in aquaculture and I was visiting Australia again as a youth and community worker. We attended the same church in Lesmurdie.

I returned to Texas to finish my bachelor�s of education and to teach school for a year. We kept in contact through email. When I returned to Australia in 2003 as a student we got to know each other better and eventually started dating, around April 2004.

We knew that our joined paths would lead to marriage, and after choosing a ring together in February of 2005, Dave proposed (in April).

I returned to Texas when my visa expired, and we were apart a very long ten months. In June 2006, after David had been in Texas three weeks, we finally got married!

Dave will be in Texas until August 22nd, and I will remain here until I get my visa. After that, who knows? Check back for more updates!
