8 "... Freely you received, freely give”.

            - Matthew 10:8 :: New American Standard Bible (NASB)

1 “But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days.

2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,

3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good,

4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God

5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them.

6 They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over weak-willed women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires,

7 always learning but never able to acknowledge the truth.

8 Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these men oppose the truth--men of depraved minds, who, as far as the faith is concerned, are rejected.

9 But they will not get very far because, as in the case of those men, their folly will be clear to everyone.”

            - 2 Timothy 3:1-9  :: New International Version (NIV)

The right to be left alone – the most comprehensive of rights, and the right most valued by a free people

            - Justice Louis Brandeis, Olmstead v. U.S., 1928.

Therefore, I say:

Know your enemy and know yourself;

in a hundred battles, you will never be defeated.

When you are ignorant of the enemy but know yourself,

your chances of winning or losing are equal.

If ignorant both of your enemy and of yourself,

you are sure to be defeated in every battle.

-- Sun Tzu, The Art of War, c. 500bc

10    My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not.

Diary Notes on the Indian Stalker

Imagine the recipe to cook a delicious meal available in a book freely. Using such a recipe, can everyone be a good chef? Can everyone cook a nice meal? How good the culinary skills would have been then? No skill, no experience required. Just read the recipe!

Unless and until, the eight-fold path of right action, right livelihood etc. is implemented in one’s personal life, what point in knowing the Holy Meaning of Life. Even a beggar may know the meaning. But what use, if not implemented?

The Holy Meaning of Life. Made very simple. But what point for this shameless people? The meaning “useless”.

A person may be innocent for a very long time. What happens if the person does an act of stealing once and gets caught? What ever the person was, once upon a time, gets negligible. For thence forth he will be known for ever in public as a thief. A criminal.

So too is the act of misconduct. One who commits the vulgar act, adultery, for ever will have the title, “loose woman”. That title will remain even if the person takes hundreds of dipping in holy waters, throws water on himself or herself, or whatever; as long as the person remains in society. Such are the ways of society, human behaviour.

“The difference between a flower girl and a lady is not how she behaves, but how she is treated.”

- George Bernard Shaw in "Pygmalion"

There is an extent or limit to beating, even if it is a dirty dog. Beyond that, there is no point in beating. Just leave it to its own fate. Just ignore it.

Praise the Lord!

A piece of bone is hung from a height. There comes a dirty, hungry dog. It jumps for the bone. The bone is dangling more higher. The dog jumps and jumps. Keeps on jumping. Isn’t it funny to watch the dog, how it jumps. Its actions, its tantrums.

Instead of the dog, if it was a woman, what a sight for the public! Rarely such actions occur in public. How low a woman can be!!

Do the public feel sorry for such a “disgraced” woman?

Why?

What other option is before a hungry dog?

The other man before left, “ran away”. Poverty. Sex to feed. What other options exist? Somehow, by whatever means, push into a descent house. No matter what it takes! Even if it takes a long time. What a dirty strategy! So once the plan is in place, whom to corner? Let the sky be the limit. A big net to cast.

But underestimated a shark for a fish.

Yes. The very starting point. Too proud an attitude. Can pull down any man in this world! Just like sucking any man’s organ, the feeling that any man can be cornered with the vulgar shows - smiles, fancy chit-chat, erotic pushing of breasts and displaying of body this way and that way in public, showing of “love” etc.

But failed. A low woman. How low can a woman fall?

How will other women in society feel, when they come across such a dirt?

And the dog gets beaten in public again and again.

Give a stick, and get beaten by the same stick!

Once upon a time, the presence of the snooping device was very confidential. The public wasn’t aware. Any “beating” during those days would not have any effect.

As days went on, the dirty people themselves revealed the presence of the bug to the public. The public interest gathered day by day. Many others too became interested in observation.

The beating started. As days went on, it had the desired effect.

They themselves did everything. The bug, the publicity etc.

When one jumps into a river for bathing, isn’t it better to fully dip into the water and rise up? So too many worldly things. No quarter way, half way etc. If one gets disgraced, how far disgraced the person will be?

The Acts of the Invisible Lord! How great!

One digs and falls in one’s own grave. One’s own trap.

What a test example!

Out of compassion, a short advice:

Never play with Fire.

Abandon day-dreams, current way of life.

Go far away.

Live for ever in a monastery or convent.

Train yourself on the Laws.

May the Lord forgive the sinners!!!

The moral of the imaginary story: Never dig your own grave!

What a deterrent punishment!

In the future, any woman who wants to repeat such dirty actions to any decent man in society, naturally will think twice.

Any man or woman who sincerely loves someone talks about the matter to his or her parents and family elders. The elders of the family get together and discuss the feasibility of such a relation, if such a relation is at all possible.

Those who go by the vulgar and dirty means, normally have something in their past to hide, which they don’t want to be revealed in the immediate future. Yet they want the relationship by some means or other. All ways of cornering or enticing are done, to make a show of “mock” love. Once the other person is pulled down sexually, slowly and slowly they bring out their dirty past. But then, to a decent man or woman, he or she is already cornered to a relationship. What else he or she can do? Just bear with it, suffer with it, until the end of life, or until the relation lasts.

The above case is a remarkable study of how a mother and daughter tried to hide their past way of life - of misconduct, lack of proper education, family background - and act as innocent with lies and false “rumours” about themselves. How they fooled the society for a long time. It is also very strange that there are men and women in society, who provide them help and facilities to continue their dirty ways, knowingly.

There is always a Lakshmana Rekha. When someone crosses that Rekha, it is time to inform the proper authorities for involvement, for justice. Such authorities can be family, relatives, public, police etc. Day time, there are people around. But at night, with many sleeping, it is very hard to nap a thief. A time for dirty activities for thieves and bad women. (Walk around the house; climb the fence or boundary wall, if possible; make loud erotic sounds from the fence or boundary wall, to bring out the man from the house etc) Such nocturnal activities require informing the proper authorities. The earlier, such people, such public nuisance are brought to the public or society notice, many a crime can be avoided, in the bud itself.

Such people who violate the written laws of the nation persistently again and again, ought to be given a choice:

1.  Shut them up in a jail permanently

2.  Kill them off immediately (Also refer section on Spiritual Killing and Cooling in Energy the Invisible Living Lord)

Such people are a public nuisance. What else should be the deterrent punishment?

An Imaginary chat

“So, loose woman, where was this fake cough 2 years back (mid-2000)? Where was this illness 2 years back (mid-2000)? How come all of a sudden excuses like “strange illness”, “body weakness”, “disease”, “testing if the spiritual concepts are right” etc?

Still jealous and envious?

Was very proud of fake beauty! What happened to that now?

Had a belief that any man could be bent on your knees just by twiddling your fingers? A few minutes of sweet, sexy chat! Where are they now?

Know that the body gets old with time?

Know what was once a “beauty” becomes useless in old age?

Ever seen very old women? Very weak in body! Hard to move about!

Ever thought one can reach that state?

Too much ego. Pride. Isn’t?

Ever seen the life of a fly in a spider’s web?

Bite, bite… And again bite. Until either the fly somehow leaves or falls from the web or die!

A cobra never bites. But if some ignorant pokes a stick into its home, the sand-dune, and disturbs the Cobra family, can the ignorant run away? The cobra follows and leaves only after a sufficient amount of bite is given to the ignorant. Strange are the ways of the animal world!

Stay and get “beaten” once a while. Or Leave with shame and disgrace.

Get fried in oil. Or Jump into the fire.

Who started it? KNOWINGLY!

If one know something before, long time back, what could be the outcome etc., one should not have gone in, to test it. Some tests are destructive!”

Perception, the outlook. The angle from which something is looked at. To some certain words may be abusive. To some, that is the right word to describe. An apple. You call it an apple, for it is an apple. Nothing else. So too some of the so-called “abusive” words. You can’t use a fragrant or sweet smelling word to describe a foul, bad smelling entity.

The meaning, context, everything changes on wrong usage.

There are no “nick-names” involved. Only words, used to describe one’s way of life or whatever.

An Imaginary chat

“What a disgrace! Must teach him a lesson! He should not leave just like that! After all these days! Just wait. Some day… “

- A “revenge” decision by the two women

4. "He abused me, he struck me, he subdued me, he robbed me", in

those who do not harbour such thoughts hatred is stilled. (4)

5. Hatred is never stilled through hatred in this world; by

non-hatred alone is hatred stilled. This is the Eternal Law

(sanantana dhamma). (5)

6. The contenders do not realize that one day we must all die, but

those who realize this resolve their quarrels. (6)

          - The Dhammapada: 4-6, Canto I - The Twin Verses: 4-6

To those women, who by reading the above chat, misunderstand that “I am cruel”, there is a hidden purpose to that “cruelty”:

After a time, getting rid of his wealth, be it small or great, getting rid of his circle of relations, be it small or great, having cut off his hair and beard, having put on saffron robes, he goes forth from home into homelessness. To this extent, Aggivessana, the ariyan disciple gets out into the open.

(Reference: Horner, I.B. (Trans.) (Revised: Thursday, September 19, 2002) Majjhima Nikaya 125. Dantabhumi Sutta. The Discourse on the "Tamed Stage".)

The above quote is equally applicable to women also.

29 And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.

          - Matthew 19:29 :: King James Version (KJV)

The above is the face-saving option of the two extreme options. The other extreme is already implied by the “bad” words.

It was a bit too much! That too to an old woman.  A voyeur using spy devices to monitor neighbouring houses. How can an old woman sleep on seeing such things? Should not have watched. Even an old woman can get excited!

In a normal house-hold, there is father, mother and children. In their privacy, the children may undress to change clothes. Father may undress to change clothes. What a scene for one who watches with snooping devices! Very difficult to an “old” woman to control certain scenes. The sight always stays in subconscious mind.

fornication in every form of it was sternly condemned by the Mosaic law (Lev. 21:9; 19:29; Deut. 22:20, 21, 23-29; 23:18; Ex. 22:16). (See ADULTERY.) But this word is more frequently used in a symbolical than in its ordinary sense. It frequently means a forsaking of God or a following after idols (Isa. 1:2; Jer. 2:20; Ezek. 16; Hos. 1:2; 2:1-5; Jer. 3:8,9).

fornication

n.

Sexual intercourse between partners who are not married to each other.

Word History: The word fornication had a lowly beginning suitable to what has long been the low moral status of the act to which it refers. The Latin word fornix, from which fornicti, the ancestor of fornication, is derived, meant “a vault, an arch.” The term also referred to a vaulted cellar or similar place where prostitutes plied their trade. This sense of fornix in Late Latin yielded the verb fornicr, “to commit fornication,” from which is derived fornicti, “whoredom, fornication.” Our word is first recorded in Middle English about 1303.

What Older Women Want, Men Can't Deliver-Sex Study

Fri Oct 11,10:40 AM ET

CHICAGO (Reuters) - Many older women still want to have sex, but they might find their men cannot oblige.

So says a global survey of 27,780 adults aged 40 to 80 from 30 countries that found aging women become sexually dysfunctional at about half the rate of men.

"To the extent that women are (sexually active), they may be facing men who have problems," said lead researcher Edward Laumann, a University of Chicago sociologist due to present some of his findings at a Vancouver, British Columbia, conference on Thursday.

The survey found that 31% of middle-aged and older women lacked interest in sex, 22% were unable to achieve orgasm, 21% did not find sex pleasurable, 20% had trouble lubricating, and 14% experienced pain with sex.

Among men, about 20% suffered from erectile dysfunction, which increased to nearly half by age 80, according to the survey, which was funded by Pfizer, Inc., the maker of the impotence treatment Viagra.

Among the health problems common to older people associated with sexual dysfunction were diabetes and hypertension, especially in men. But psychological factors, especially depression, diminished interest in sex after 40.

In the United States, two-thirds of men aged 70 or older have a companion who is a potential sex partner, while less than one-third of women do because of women's longer life spans and divorce patterns.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Also it is first time; I come across an outsider, an old woman who watches using spy devices from a neighbouring house, an old man’s nakedness in his privacy. Doesn’t this old woman come from a decent family? Doesn’t she have a husband or someone like that? Very sad state that old woman is in, watching the nakedness of married old men! An old voyeur woman!

The “mother” and “daughter” - what a perfect duo!

They do a lot of cheating. They twist facts this way, that way to gain their selfish ends. They talk one thing to one person, another thing to another person, twisting the facts. Women of bad character. Women of ill repute.

If bad reputation can be considered as bricks, how many bricks can a person carry on his or her head? Especially a woman?

I sincerely worry about this shaming. They asked for it - shaming. Their action indirectly called for this type of reply - shaming. Shame after shame being piled up as bricks. How long and how much will they withstand? That too, women!

The effect of the poisoned arrow backfiring. The wound never heals as long as the arrow remains in the wound.

A time may come, where it is better for such women to use a “purdah” or chador to cover from head to foot for moving around in society. To cover the shame and disgrace, they themselves created, because of greediness, jealousy and envy! Else, they must be having very thick skin, to withstand any shameful behavior.

Those who violate others privacy - do we respect them? Whether it be man or woman. Young or old? Should we invite them for a feast? Call them sweet and pretty names? I personally don’t respect them. Nor do any decent person in society. If the law had given me the right to beat, then I would naturally have had beaten those privacy violators, even if it is an old woman. Any person in society will give the same punishment, for watching or observing their privacy. I would have verbally abused them. But an educated man got limitations in verbally or physically abusing others. I must cultivate more patience.

One SHOULD mind one’s own business. Not other’s privacy. Not neighbor’s business in neighbor’s house.

Refer the sutra on How to deal with those who annoy you.

Yet, why did I write all this “to be secret” stuff?

If, I did not write against clandestine monitoring, then a mistaken notion will appear that a victim supports such illegal activities. I never accept privacy violation. So if it hurts the violators, it is their problem. More and more people will have the wrong feeling that anyone can spy on anyone. In the future, such an attitude may generate a society of “spies”, each spying one another, with nothing else to do. Nothing productive. So let man be more civilized and stop such “spying activities” and sincerely train himself on detachment or renunciation. What use knowing somebody’s private matters or private body parts? What is he, so are you! If you are a man, you got a penis. If you are a woman, you got breasts. Nothing else is there. Some penis may be small, some long. Some breasts are small, some large. So what? It is just nature’s way for human propagation. So what is special there? Just hanging pieces of boneless flesh. Why get enticed by such hanging meat? Why getting heated up when one see such things? Do you get heated up when you are naked for taking a bath or shower? Frequent a butcher shop. Watch the hanging meat of various sorts - chicken, goat etc. Watch how meat is “dressed”. Do you get enticed? Do you get sexually heated up then? Cut off that mental visualization. That is vulgar. Don’t think bad thoughts. Meditate on detachment, dispassion, vairagya. Develop insight. One who develops insight doesn’t need a master. He is a self-master.

Anything that goes outside the Higher Laws, always check the past history, what sort of punishment any violation or transgression can incur. Go through many religious practices for checking the punishment. What different nations used to do for punishing certain crimes? The punishment lies in the amount of pain to be undergone. Also read the following article: The LAW's Hall of Horror.

Capital punishment itself is as old as humanity. The Babylons, Hammurabi, decreed the death penalty for crimes as minor as the fraudulent sale of beer. Egyptians were killed as punishment for disclosing sacred burial places.

The Romans inflicted capital punishment by pushing the accused from a high cliff. Crucifixion, such as that inflicted on Jesus Christ, was another popular form of punishment. The idea was to nail the convict to the cross and to let them die slowly, from asphyxiation, shock and heart failure.

The Romans dealt with those guilty of parricide in a unique fashion. There, the convict was sewn up into a leather sack with an animal and thrown out to sea (animal was included so that, in its attempts to escape, the criminal would be torn apart by its claws. For this reason, a dog, cat or chicken was preferred). The penalty for declaring bankruptcy was slavery or being cut to pieces; the option being with the creditor.

There was no letup during the Middle Ages, where convicts were crushed under heavy stones or burned at the stake. Between the years 1500 and 1550 alone, over 70,000 state executions were carried out in England alone. As late as 1780, the British criminal law contained over 350 offences for which the punishment was death.

Eighteen hundred and seventy marked the end of the last vestige of barbaric punishment in England. At that time, the time-honored punishment of being drawn and quartered was struck from the law books as the government's response to treason. Following conviction on the charge of treason, it was ordered that the prisoner be hanged from the neck and then cut down alive. His stomach was cut open and his intestines were pulled out and burned before his eyes, while he was still alive. Then his head was cut off and his body cut into four pieces. It was a custom to stick the heads of the dead on posts as a reminder and deterrent to others that may be inclined towards crime.

On eye-witness wrote, in October 13, 1660, that he "went out to Charing Cross to see Major Harrison hanged, drawn and quartered, which was done there, he looking as cheerful as any man could do in that condition. He was presently cut down and his head and heart shown to the people, at which there was great shouts of joy."

The English law treated women differently for treason. They were burned alive.

Another English punishment, which prevailed during the reign of Henry VIII, was being boiled alive.

French law was no better. Burning at the stake was common. In carrying out the official court sentence of the assassin of Henri IV, the murderer's skin was torn off his chest, arms and legs with red hot pinchers. The arm with which he had killed the King was burnt off and molten lead was poured onto the wounds. Finally, his body was torn apart by a team of four horses.

The pillory was a device that was used for hundreds of years. With it, a prisoner's head and limbs were pinned between planks of wood in the middle of the town square. Passers-by were invited to assault the prisoner or to throw things at the prisoner's head. One lady, in 1732, was convicted of inciting another to poison a man. She was sentenced to two days in the pillory. She barely survived the first day. She was pelted with eggs and other projectiles. On the second day, the guards found it difficult to get her head through the opening and, removing her head-dress, they found she had fashioned a concealed bowl to shield her skull. They removed it but it incited the crowd even more. According to eyewitnesses, she was pelted until her head bled profusely and only then did the crowd subside. She survived.

Conviction of a charge of forgery meant that a person had his ears cut off and his nostrils slit while in the pillory. The pillory was finally abolished in 1837.

The British had a special punishment for those who refused to plead one way or another in the face of a felony charge. Their bodies were pressed by great weights until they either agreed to plead or they died. The penalty was called peine forte et dure. The prisoner was laid on the floor naked and his hands and feet were tied up and stretched in opposite directions, towards the four corners of the room. A board was laid on his chest. On the board, weights were laid. More weight was added "till he die or answer." This form of punishment lasted from 1406 to 1772.

(Reference: The LAW's Hall of Horror.)

For example, the punishment of stoning for adultery in Shari at Law. Is not installing a bug in a computer, a crime of hacking? Isn’t the prime suspect of such a crime awarded life imprisonment in USA as on 2002? If all one, why care about a nation or religion alone. The punishment awarded is what matters. Either one suffers the punishment or the Lord awards a higher punishment! So how can such a suspect claim innocence? If so, then what do the Holy Scriptures speak of such a person?

This is the way of an adulterous woman:

She eats and wipes her mouth,

And says, "I have done no wrong.

- Proverbs 30:20 :: New American Standard Bible (NASB)

There is no point in arguing with non-believers. Only when pain is suffered, will a non-believer really become a believer. Until then, he or she will have this doubt and that doubt. Let the Lord judge. Praise the Lord!

The concept of “No Death”. When you properly understand that, you won’t give any importance to the above barbarian acts. For the “barbarian” punishments are only for deterrent, to prevent copycats, nothing else…and thus safeguard law and order in society…inculcate fear to rule…

Why some of the bugs are not removed personally on identification?

One of the many reasons:

You aim a gun at a person. What happens if the gun back-fires?

You aim a poisoned arrow at a person. What happens, if by accident, the poisoned arrow strikes you itself?

Will a wound from a poisoned arrow heal, as long as the poisoned arrow stays in the wound?

So too the bugs. Spy devices etc.

You go into a house and install them.

Can you easily go in again to retrieve those bugs?

If the bugs are identified, who is in pain? Who is in shame? Who is in disgrace?

You dig your own grave, for a lifetime or more. Such are the effects of psychological warfare.

A very good case-study indeed for those contemplating bug installation, in future, on any house-hold in society. Scenarios like this reverse-effect, “changing of plates” etc are possible.

Many a person will remember. Word of mouth. Gossip etc on how something installed for “cornering” got reversed. Strange indeed the invisible hands of the Lord. How He protects His devotees! How the Lord looks after the offerings made unto Him! Praise the Lord!

In any family, if there is a problem with a son, you blame the father. Spare the rod, spoil the child, as the Scriptures say. If “self-controlled” women need to be more “self-controlled”, naturally it is the problem with their mother. Already many a case-study is given. Freely letting the cow to jump over the fence into neighbor’s place is not a good option at all. The problem lies with the mother. If such women have had enforced proper restrictions on their daughters, many a mis-adventure, shame, disgrace could have been avoided. But then, many such mothers are fashionable, greedy and head-weight women. They untied the harness allowing the cow to freely roam around. Pick whatever you like. Eat whatever you like. Get whoever you like. Go wherever you like. Do whatever you like. What a freedom! Should my writings be sweet to such “splendid” women for rearing such “self-controlled” “cows”?

Modern man and woman are not used to beating. Beating occurs today only in certain traditional schools, up to a certain age. After that, no more beating.

Spare the rod and spoil the child, is equally applicable to modern man and woman, of any age.

Just like a domestic animal. Just beat it during younger days, it will be tame. Older days, being a domestic animal by nature, it might remain tame. But what about men and women who grow up? The taming of younger ages vanishes. Untamed “beasts”. The introduction of public caning and number of strokes can act as an instant and immediate justice, thereby removal of many life-long court cases, redress of justice, justice lag etc.

Some are tamed with a stick, or hook or whip, I was tamed without a stick or weapon, by a such like one.

Before America had its vast prison system, petty criminals were locked in stocks in the town square as humiliation. Others were flogged. Barbaric, we now say. But was flogging immoral?

Today, many believe that public caning of young criminals, and their return to society for a second chance, would be far better for them and us. It might be a superior deterrent to crime than dumping them into the animal cages that are too many of American prisons, where young offenders face sexual abuse and are exposed to the daily example of how incorrigible criminals succeed and fail.

Who would not prefer a thrashing that might even put one in a hospital for a week to spending years in such a prison?

A wanderer journeys through different lands and write his experiences. So too this diary. Many gave many an input, many a concept for entry, for discussion etc. As I mentioned today, don’t get attached to this writing either. Somebody wrote something. That is all. Why worry for kindly providing an idea for inclusion and discussion? I have taken care not to mention any personal details. It is immaterial, who or what. It is the concept or principle coming up for discussion, that matters. Such concepts are always relevant for others too. Something like moral science taught in certain schools for little children. Yes, some “abuses” are also there. Wrong things get scolding, even from a teacher in a school. So too the “abuses”. Don’t get attached too much to scolding.

The problem with this unique case is it involves sheer violation of national laws - computer hacking, privacy violation etc.

From one side, they cite a strange reason on helping somebody’s spiritual growth.

From the other side, using that as an excuse, violating the national laws, they are trying to commit seduction, using the educational centre as a “brothel” in the vicinity of public places like hotel as well as a religious temple.

Q6.. What is the punishment for seducing or soliciting for purpose of prostitution?

Ans.

Whoever, in any public place or within sight, and in such manner as to be seen or heard from, any public place, whether from, within any building or house or not:

  • By words, gestures, wilful exposure of her person (whether by sitting by a window or on the balcony of a building or house or in any other way), or otherwise tempts or endeavours to tempt, or attracts or endeavours to attract the attention of, any person for the purpose of prostitution; or
  • Solicits or molests any person, or loiters or acts in such manner as to cause obstruction or annoyance to persons residing nearby or passing by such public place or to offend against public decency, for the purpose of prostitution,

(Reference: The Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956. Illegal Prostitution.)

So if the case is giving public pardon or clemency, the possibility for copy cat violations are rampant. With just anyone violating any other person in the pretext of helping the other person’s spiritual growth!

Without entering into the more general subject of management and motivation, one should recognize that external threat is a powerful motivator.

(To be precise, the use of spy devices results in a sort of mental instability of the victim. The trepidation. The uneasiness of being watched or observed) Resulting in complete lawlessness. Fighting against each other. Something like the Yadavas at Dwaraka, during Lord Krishna’s time. Like I, “fighting” my “innocent” neighbors! Fighting but not fighting! Innocent but not innocent! To prevent such an occurrence, deterrent punishment need to be enforced with heavy compensation damages, thereby preventing copy cat instances. For somebody just have to stop the clandestine violation somewhere. That is it.

If an action is private, all right, no problem. But the moment it goes out of control, spreads through the word of mouth through the society, there is a major problem - both the victim as well as the culprit side are under the public microscope. Each action from both sides being monitored for plus and minus. Each action whether legal or illegal has its own supporters. For example, from the culprit side, consider the action, the use of spy devices. There are many who support its use, for it has its own “benefits”. Of finding things clandestinely, which otherwise was impossible. In other words, the illegal action of the culprits in using spy devices created a major copy cat.

So too any action of worth, either from one side or the other side. Anything that is beneficial or worthy immediately gets its own followers, whether legal or illegal. What to do, if an illegal action is generating a lot of followers, just because it looks good?

So the moral is punishment at the bud state itself. The way things are going, the bud started its evolution, with many followers.

At least the initiators of the illegal process can be brought before justice.

It is a major grey area. An area where you just can’t define the limits. Punish? Not punish?

“Thou belongest to That Which Is Undying, and not merely to time alone,” murmured the Sphinx, breaking its muteness at last. “Thou art eternal, and not merely of the vanishing flesh. The soul in man cannot be killed, cannot die. It waits, shroud-wrapped, in thy heart, as I waited, sand-wrapped, in thy world. Know thyself, O mortal! For there is One within thee, as in all men, that comes and stands at the bar and bears witness that there IS a God!
