He's off to the ocean
with hook and line.
Catching a big fish
is on his mind.
A warm breeze is
blowing.
His adrenalin is
flowing!
There's fish jumping
now and then.
He finds a good spot
and cast his line in.
Anticipation is
running high.
His head is in
the sky.
To catch a big fish
he sure tries,
But those taking bait
are all small fry.
So..with the sun
sinking fast
He heads home at
last.
When he gets home
he'll have plenty
to say
As he tells of the
big one that
got away!
Dedicated to my brother Harold
