The 5th Annual Great Canadian Prairie VW Cruz

The Plan: Wednesday, August 16'th is the planned date for the Prairie VW Cruz to leave the city of Regina on its way to Calgary.

By this date, some Prairie VW Cruz participants should have arrived from Winnipeg to join the Regina Vee-Dub Club members on the journey. This trip is a long one, especially in an Air-Cooled VW. We are planning to leave early in the day so that we can get to Calgary before nightfall.

When: 8:00am Departure Time - If you need Breakfast, Fuel, last minute tuning etc... Please start your day earlier so that we can all leave as a group as close to 8:00am as possible. (I'm not very accommodating am I?)

How: We will be traveling on the Trans-Canada Highway - #1 West through Moose Jaw, to Swift-Current ( Fuel stop ) and onto Medicine Hat, Alberta ( lunch-break ). This should put us into Alberta for lunch between noon and 1:00pm. Hopefully, some local Medicine Hat or Lethbridge residents will join us for the Cruz into Calgary. We'll make a quick stop at Concept-1 for a meet and greet with Club Vee-Dub members before settling in for the night in preparation for the long-haul the next day.
