Leaving Grande Prairie-Wednesday August 16th, 2006

We will meet at the Downtown Tim Hortons in Grande Prairie at 9:00am and will wait for 30 minutes for everyone to show up. Make sure you are fueled, tires checked, etc etc. On our way to Edmonton, with a stop in White Court. I recommend staying at Tower on the Park, just off of Jasper Ave in Edmonton. It's got underground parking, security, and the rooms (condos really) are quite cheap so its easy to split with some one. *i believe a 2 bedroom is only $130.00/per night.

Leave Edmonton Thursday Aug. 17 at 8:00am - The Air-Riders VW Club members will meet at Westside Automotive - 10010 168 Street Northwest MAP at 8:00 am on Thursday Aug 17/06. Please have your car fuelled up, Oil changed (Valves adjusted if air-cooled) and ready to hit the road at this time. This is where Prairie VW Cruzers from Grande Prairie and Saskatoon will meet up with us. If you can, bring along an FRS radio so we can keep in touch on the road.

Please call me (Jason Morton) at 428- 9369 or post on the FORUMS if you will be joining us on the Cruz, so we don't leave without you. We will depart from Westside once everyone is there.

Thursday afternoon picnic- We will stop in Mount Robsion for a picnic, lunch break, and time to let the cars cool down. So pack a lunch if you want or they do have food for sale there.

Kamloops Thursday night- We will stop in Kamloops and stay the night at the Super 8 Motel. It is right off the highway- the phone numbers are 1(350) 374-8688 or 1-800-800-8000. This is were we will Rendezvous with the rest of the Prairie VW Cruzers from Winnipeg, Regina, and Calgary.
