The 5th Annual Great
Canadian Prairie VW Cruz
Well as most of you know
last year was our 4th annual Alberta VW Cruz to the Vancouver show. Well this
year We want to make it bigger and better than ever. The Vancouver “Great
Canadian VW Show” will be held on August ? / 2006. We would like to hear some
suggestion and comments on how we (Airriders
, Club-Vee-Dub,
Regina Vee-Dub Club,
Uberwagen VW Club) can make this
Cruz even bigger this year. We will be working on some hand bill ads; as well we
want to make special T-shirts this year for Cruz participants. Since
this is one of the best VW show’s in the world these days, lets get everyone we
can and their VW to join in on the fun. Last year we even had some Saskatoon and Regina
Volks Folks join in; hopefully there will be more joining in this year as well as
some Volks Folks from Winnipeg. We think it would be cool if we could get a few
Volks Folks from Winnipeg to leave and Cruz to Regina, meet up with some Regina
Volks Folks, then Cruz to Calgary, and meet up with Calgary on Thursday and Cruz
as an even bigger group. Then Saskatoon could organize a Cruz to Edmonton, meet
up with us on the Thursday and Cruz with us to Kamloops, where on Thursday night
we will be one huge group. Sound fun!!.,
Then we can call it “The 5th
Annul Great Canadian Prairie Cruz”. So we would like to get some people in
Regina, Saskatoon, and Winnipeg to organize a Cruz from these cities, it any one
is interested, please send me a pm, or call me (Jason in Edmonton) at (780) 428-9369.
We will
have a common Hotel booked, in Kamloops, on Thursday night, then in the morning
have Breakfast and head out as one big group up the mountains to the official
Show Hotel were we can meet up with other clubs from BC, and the USA. Then of
course there is the Drag Races that night in Mission, and the Hotel parking lot
late night party, Saturday morning pancake breakfast, were last year we cruzed
with the Victoria club, and all clubs from the USA in one big group.. That was
one fun and big VW Cruz. Then Sunday is the big show.
Lets make this one the best one
ever and lets show the world that the VW scene is a live and well in the
Canadian Prairies.
