I don't know how, but you finally reach the PPP team's welcome site.
So let's introduce ourself a bit.
PPP Team Software is a team of young people (about 20 year old for most)
trying to enter the mercyless world of the demoscene.
Our main activity is game making, but because we do not have a lot of
experience/time/tool to do it, we also turn around in many sub-activities
such as music tracking, operating system design or smalltros coding...
This is just a Welcome Page
Indeed, more is available through the
official PPP team's homepage ,
mainly project status, downloads, etc. The purpose of the WelcomePage is
to present ourself and to collect links, emails address, etc.
Bilou, the Team's mascotte

Nothing to do with Redmon's Boss. Bilou is just a fancy blue ball with
green feets and ceylands hands "in orbit around him". He's the main
character of most our games.

Bilou has some magical powers (such as throwing his punch, flying,
walk on ceilings, etc) and is made of deformable material, so he
can "splash" on the ground if he falls from to high.
We realised two games with Bilou as hero, in MS-QuickBasic 4.5: one
"zelda-like" (given up after world 1: too complicated) and a platform
game (given up after world 1 too : too much bugs in the graphic system)
A version of Bilou (platform) should be remade with today's tools
(maybe a 3D bilou ??) as soon as we got some time. We still hesitate
between Linux or v2_os to do it, but it will probably won't be under
Windows.

I also would like to credit Pinky & WiS
from Udev , two guys we met @insceneY2K and who made a demo with
us (the winning Wild Competition: FreeStyle).

which is not even able to compile the games i've made >:-C

What's new ??
I'm currently drawing an online comic (i try to have daily release,
but some times, i miss one day or two :( relating
Bilou's Adventure .
What does 'PPP' stand for ?
Those three P came from the nicknames of the three initial members of
PPP (Piet, Pierrick and Pypein). Note that it was the first time we
kept a team name for more than one month ;-)
How many are you ?
Well, that's hard to say, because they are many many people we meet
quite unfrequently. Today's core is made of Cyborg Jeff (musician),
Pype (coder and gfx), Kris (coder) and Mind (coder).
Moreover, CyborgJeff likes very much to make CreaDream Sound Studio
growing with (tiny?) contributors...

What are your main activities ?
Hmmm... Studying (unfortunately :-(
Sometimes, we succeed in finishing a game or (proudly) present some
intro at some demoparty (well, we only go to one, in fact). But the
sound'n'music division Creadream Sound Studio is very active.
Looking for some new members ?
Yeah. If you're a graphist and that you'd like to join us, it
would be really nice (we *hardly* need one), mostly if you live in the
Benelux region.
Coders are also welcome, (we mainly use C/C++/ASM and maybe going into
JAVA). We have many projects, but very few time to realise them.
