  • Dog Organizations:

  • American Kennel Club: Oldest All Breed Club. Open only to purebreds. Has an ILP service for unregistered purebreds to compete in activities other than conformation.
  • United Kennel Club: Second oldest All Breed Club. Mixed breeds welcome in certain activities. More activity orientated than AKC.
  • American Mixed Breed Obedience Registry: Offering titles for mixed breeds. Mutts must be registered here before competing in other clubs allowing mixes like ASCA.
  • Mixed Breed Dog Clubs of America: Another club offering titles for mixed breeds.
  • Canadian Kennel Club: Canada's national all breed club.
  • American Rare Breed Association: For rare dog breeds. A good site for breed id.
  • Australian Shepherd Club of America: Only Aussies compete in conformation but other breeds are welcome to compete in and gain titles in activities and, when registered with AMBOR, mixes are welcome. (contact Rebecca if you would like to know more about getting involved in ASCA)
  • United States Dog Agility Association: Focuses on agility for pure and mixed breeds
  • North American Dog Agility Council: Another club focusing on agility for any dog
