WELCOME TO

POTTON TWINNING ASSOCIATION

Potton is a small market town with a population of about 4,500, situated in east Bedfordshire. It is located about 12 miles east of the county town of Bedford and falls within the Mid-Beds District Council area. The town is built around the Market Square, which is the main shopping area. Buildings around the Square date from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries as do many others around the central part of the town. The centre of the Square is dominated by the Clock Building which today houses the Library, Police office and Town Council chamber.
