Alicia waited at her father�s happy face. At last he finally spoke. �You know the new rich company, you know 'Lancaster.' Well, that company asked me to be their new boss. Isn�t that great?� he asked the
excited looking family.
�Oh, darling, that�s wonderful!� Mrs. Sharp exclaimed.
�Really?� Alicia asked, with now a big smile on her face. Her father nodded.
Alicia nodded to her father. This great news had just cheered her up.
�Also since 'Lancaster' is in London. We�re moving over there. Alicia didn�t you say, you want to live in England so much?� His father said, with now even a greater smile.
�We�re moving?� Alicia asked, with now her great smile off. Her father nodded.
�We�re really moving?� She asked her voice now lower down to a shaking whisper.
�Yes, Alicia. I expected you to be more happy about it.� Mr. Sharp finished with a nod.
�I guess but I don�t want to move I want to stay here.� She whined. �But I guess It�s for the best.� She ended.
�Doesn�t matter Alicia. I mean daddy doesn�t have to except this, I mean we�re fine. I don�t want to go either.� Angel said.
�Umm, Angel, I excepted this invitation already. We�re going.� Mr. Sharp said, the tone in his voice changing to a little not sure.
�But you, you didn�t even ask me! Nor us! I don�t want to go� Angel shouted, then without another sound, she rushed up stairs. Alicia heard a loud �bang�.
�I guess Angel�s not so happy about that.� Alicia said, her voice stayed at a whisper.
�Are you okay with it?� Mrs. Sharp asked, with a reassuring tone.
�I�m fine� Alicia said, trying to change her sad face into a happy one as she wiped away a tear.
Just then the phone rang. Lily rushed to answer it. Alicia heard her talking. � Oh hello Melissa, yes Alicia is here.� She put the phone to her chest and saw Alicia already standing by her. She handed the phone her.
Alicia thanked her. She put the phone up to her ear and straightened her broken voice.
�Hi� She said as her voice changed again.
�Hi� Melissa answered, with some how almost the same tone. �Don�t talk.� She said with too a breaking up voice. Alicia�s face lit up as she heard Melissa explain. � My father came home with some news. He had
been told, umm� well, he got a job at 'Lancaster' for Co. boss. We�re moving to London.� She finished, now it was like she was crying.
�Don�t be sad!� Alicia cried with a fantastic smile on her face. � I know that you�ll never believe me. But my father got invited, too! Okay maybe I�m sounding like a baby when I say that but, it�s true!�
�Great see you tomorrow!� Were the last words Melissa said before jumping around her bedroom. Also knocking down a stack of history books.
Alicia knew by heart that Melissa was more than excited about that. She was, too. But she was speechless, like Melissa she jumped along happily all
the way upstairs. Her father smiled.
�Did you know this?� Mrs. Sharp asked once she saw her husband�s happy face.
�Of course I knew this. Since I�m boss now. I saw Melissa�s father�s r�sum� and it was perfect. Also I knew Alicia would be more than happy.� He said.
Alicia felt great! She jumped around her room, squealing like a mouse. Aaron came in happily, too. Melissa�s older brother Andy is about Aaron�s age. So Aaron won�t be lonely. Alicia smiled to herself. This is perfect. Maybe TOO perfect!
