Welcome to POLYTECH Bands!
POLYTECH Bands include three instrumental music areas in the POLYTECH School District: Symphonic Band and Concert Band, Marching Band, and Jazz Band. Created in 1991, POLYTECH High School is a comprehensive technical high school with a full band program in the state of Delaware. The campus is located approximately six miles south of Dover.
Since its inception in Fall 1994, POLYTECH Bands have represented the high school at several athletic events, parades and concerts throughout the region. Additionally, POLYTECH Bands have performed in Tournament of Bands competitions as well as music festivals in Virginia, Tennessee and South Carolina. Currently, we are planning a trip to Atlanta, Georgia, for April 2005.
In 2004 - 2005, over 125 students are participating in the POLYTECH Band program.
