Two Heads Are Better Than One

I was at a tourney in France,
Where each knight had a fine sturdy lance.
As oft happeneth there, their poles broke in th'affair,
So I favored 'em both with bonne chance!

Refrain:
I will take two, I will take two,
For two heads are better than one;
I will take two for ye know that 'tis true
That two heads are better than one.

The lords are all luscious to me;
I scorn no man's virility.
But though a man's stronger,
Woman lasteth longer,
'Twas ever this way, all agree!

Refrain: repeat, except in line 3, 'Madam, wouldn't ye, too?'

Like ladies of bon appetit,
I use both my lips when at meat;
I find I'm at a loss
Choosing twixt cock and sauce--
One more course will my feasting complete!

Refrain: repeat, except in line 3, 'at least two--for 'tis true'

Dear sisters, fear not the name slut,
The flow of our wealth would ye cut?
For the purse that we hold is of flesh, not of gold,
And more profiteth open than shut.

Refrain: repeat, except in line 3, 'madam, wouldn't ye, too?'

The harems have got it all wrong,
Locking women up in a throng!
Once they've ripped the tunic
From every eunuch,
Their rage will inspire this song:

Refrain:
I will take two, 'tis I will take two,
At least two heads better than one!
I will take two, nay, your dregs will not do,
When mostly ye leave us with none.

Now must I soothe ye gentle men;
I seek not your joy to shorten:
It turneth out well, if each other ye spell,
Ye can all go again and again.

Refrain: repeat, except in line 3, 'at least two--for 'tis true'

Refrain: repeat, except in last line repeat 'two heads are better' THREE times, 'than one'
