| Polynesian Festival Theme: Developed by the sponsoring organization such that it has a Polynesian connection. It may be called "Polynesian Days or Polynesian Festival". The foundation will support any Polynesian theme with its most appropriate compliment to the people, arts, crafts and skills. Along with our professional dance and music shows, various exhibits can also be implemented. Sample Exhibits Fiji Play bamboo musical intruments Observe and learn about tapa cloth making Learn Fijian Hawaii Learn Hawaiian dances Make and taste Poi Make Leis, Hawaiian quilts and feather New Zealand Participate in a (harmless) stick game developed to help warriors Try the art of swinging poi balls Observe examples of intricate wood carving and art of making a canoe Learn Maori dances Samoa Husk coconuts with nothing more than a stick Crack coconuts with opportunities to purchase and taste Learn Samoan dances Tahiti Learn Tahitian dances Learn Tahitian words and songs Tonga Play Tongan shuffleboard Learn how to weave tropical leaves Learn Tongan dances FOOD We can provide Polynesian food, either in a formal sit-down setting or in a free- standing concession atmosphere.
