| Polynesia-Pacifica Foundation of Colorado - Denver Botanic Gardens Romantic Sunset Stroll 2000 The Polynesia Pacifica Foundation of Colorado will host its 2nd Annual Romantic Stroll Event at the Denver Botanic Gardens on August 4, 2000. Last year's event was a huge success with a crowd of 3,000 and this year, being the only organization left in DBG's Summer Series list, we anticipate the crowd to triple. Last year, six halaus led by the PPFC core group, presented a top notch cultural entertainment representing the different islands in the South Pacific such as Hawaii, New Zealand, Samoa and Tahiti. This year we anticipate to increase the number of group participants to guarantee another year of quality performance. The firewalks performed by the most daring fire dancers captivated and seized the audience that evening. Come and see for yourself the diversity and richness of the Polynesian cultures in a place closest to nature - the newly renovated Denver Botanic Gardens! The romantic sunset stroll is a perfect night out for families, seniors, students and the general public to enjoy an evening of fun and be part of a unique experience. For a minimal fee of $7/adult and $5/members, seniors, students, people have the option to bring a picnic basket or try an authentic Polynesian meal offered by two of the best chefs in Colorado. The stroll starts at 6:00 to 7:00 pm and from 7:30 to 9:00 pm, the main show at DBG's amphitheater. People who had been to Hawaii and other islands in the South Pacific, this is a chance to reminisce those memories of a lifetime! Reserve your tickets now by calling (303) 337-9165. We accept Visa, Mastercard and personal checks. |
