Description: 

    Involved in almost everything the school offers, Cindy is the living example of school spirit.   She barely pulls off a "B" average, despite the fact that her teachers say she has the potential to be an "A" student, if she focuses more on her schoolwork and less on her extra-curriculars.  Being class president would just be another thing on her plate, but she definitely has her finger on the pulse of the school and knows what's up.

Platform: 

School Uniforms: "I don't think Riverdale needs school uniforms.  The first thing I would do as class president is to create a committee made up of both students and community members to make a petition against the uniforms.  They would have to listen to us then."

School Dances: "I think we should organize a fund raiser at the beginning of the year. Then, we will use the money we raise to make up for the increase in the cost. Simple!!  It shouldn't take too much time, after I get a committee to help."

Vending Machines: "As class president, I will attempt to strike a deal with administration.  If we, as a class, keep the trash cleaned up, we will get the machines on all day.  But, if we don't, they will be turned off.  This will be done on a week-to- week basis.  This shouldn't be too hard, hopefully."
