Brian Gerry
Brian joined the Choir initially in 1986, and apart from two brief sojourns in Spain and Brittany, has been responsible for guiding it, expanding the repertoire and polishing performances since that date.
He has been responsible for guiding the Choir to the many successes in competitions and plaudits received from grateful audiences in regular concerts.
A teacher by profession, Brian studied at Westminster College, Oxford. Since retiring from the post of Headmaster at Bridgetown School, Totnes. He has made a successful career for himself as a teacher of singing and the piano.
He is always in great demand as a Musical Director in the Plymouth area, having been choral director of "Music of the Night", involved in the Plymouth and Saltash Music Festivals and many productions at the Theatre Royal, Atheneum and Plymouth Pavilions.
Having recently returned from running a bed and breakfast in Brittany, Brian has settled in East Cornwall and continues to develop the choir from strength to strength.
