7/15/2005 Initiated project because of my interest in browsing binary files and attempting to read them through software that I am in developement for.
LOAD - opens file dialog box for folder / file browsing
Scrolling through files...
- keyboard: PGUP (Page up) PGDN (Page down) UP ARROW (Up one line) DOWN ARROW (Down one line) END (End of file) HOME (Top of file)
- mouse wheel: one mouse wheel turn forward moves upward, one mouse wheel turn backward moves downward
- icons: Same functions as keyboard but permits same actions without using the keyboard; 1st down arrow (move down one line) 1st up arrow (move up one line) 2nd down arrow (move down one page) 2nd up arrow (move up one page) left (move to beginning of file) right (move to end of file)

* Browse any type of file
* Scroll through file, 20 characters at a time
* Find feature to look for text entered
* Future- allow edit of binary file, and providing a new name to the changed file

7/17/2005 Here is a brief look at the project so far:
Tutorial
CLEAR - frees current loaded file from memory, clears the screen
EDIT - this is a future enhancement
FIND - input text to search within the file; found or not found appears top right corner of screen

Thoughts...
Documention within my own thinking is best on a hard drive/local computer (not shared on the internet). This is something a little bit different in that I'd like to share this projects history on the internet... maybe someone out there will run into this web site and show an interest in using my software.
