Mount Chimney

Mt. Chimney, the active volcano

Mt. Chimney is an active volcano. Its smoke can be seen for miles around. It throws ashes around it that are blown onto Route 113. The heat from this volcano is used for many good things such as keeping the pokémon of Firey Path warm and the Lavaridge Hot Springs hot. The top of this tall mountain can only be reached with the Cable Car or by escalating Jagged Path with the Acro Bike.

Team Aqua's failed plan

Team Aqua planned to get the meteorite from Professor Cosmo at Meteor Falls and use it with a machine to make Mt. Chimney inactive! their thought is that the crater will fill with water and then spill over the mountain side, thereby creating more bodies of water in Hoenn. However, their plans were thwarted by Team Magma and a passing by trainer who did everything they could to stop them.

The plan of Team Magma was to take the meteorite from Professor Cosmo at Meteor Falls and to put it in a machine that would make Mt. Chimney erupt! They estimated that the lava would reach to the sea and increase the surface area of the landmass of Hoenn. Despite this marvelous plan, Team Aqua and a passing trainer did everything to stop them and thwarted their large attempt.

Lava Cookies

Lava Cookies are a local specialty in Mt. Chimney. These sweet cookies not only are delicious to eat, but if they're fed to a pokémon it will cure any status problem it has.
