Damian and Michelle were in the air. Damian had a parachute on his back. He was trying to convince her to put hers on. They went to classes together but he didn't need them. He was a seasoned sky diver; he went in support of her and to answer any questions she might have. He took other girlfriends out before and they all had a great time. Michelle was his wife of three months and refused to look out the door. She didn't want to jump, she was terrified. He begged her, promised she would be okay and promised the thrill of her life, but she wouldn't step off the plane until it was on ground again. Damian knew he couldn't reason with her or make her do it. He took off his parachute and told the pilot to take them back Turbulance rocked the small plane, knocking Damian and Michelle down. When Damian found his feet again, Michelle was gone. He looked around, in every direction, but she wasn't in the plane anymore. He looked at the door and his heart dropped. "MICHELLE!" he screamed. He looked. Damian saw her falling to the ground, she lost the parachute, it was falling with her but she didn't know how to get to it.He went after her without a parachute. They both plummeted to the Earth. Falling faster and faster, she was screaming. Damian and Michelle fell faster and faster. Damian reached the parachute and pulled it on, he reached for her, grabbed her ankle but lost the grip. They kept falling, getting closer to the ground, closer to death. He went for her, refusing to pull the chute until he had her. He grabbed for her again and she tried to grab for him, his grip slipped again and he lost her again on the fabric of her outfit. They fell faster and faster. She screamed. She fell and screamed. He tried to save her. Finally, Damian grabbed her. Michelle wrapped her arms and legs around his body. He opened the parachute but it was too late. They hit the ground. She was still screaming. |
