Every girl becomes a woman, but very few women become a lady, and Sharon is a lady. Sharon is the most important thing in my life, and I would give my life for her to live, because I am not 1/10th the person she is. Sharon is everything I am not: She is very talented, compassionate, gentle, forgiving, tolerant, patient, and loves life. She is especially close to her family and always puts her family first. She is unselfish and kind.
However, there are a couple of idiosyncrocies about Sharon that I love as well: If there are 7 people in the house (including Sharon), and only enough pie for 6, she will give up her piece. On the other hand, if it is just Sharon and I, and there is only one piece of pie, she expects to get the whole piece, where I would share it equally or give her the whole piece. And where ice cream is concerned, she always says both bowls are filled evenly, but in truth, her bowl has more in it.
I would like to be by her side every second of every day, but this would not work because after about the second day, she would be in the funny farm, because I would worry her to death. I am not a very religious person, but I do thank God for her coming into my life, and God has told me "Jeff go ahead and give Sharon the credit for changing your life, and I will stand in the background".
Sharon is my heroine, my confidant, my friend, my lover and wife, my advisor, and my brains, because I am the one with the hot head, and she is the one with the cool head and can calm me down. I relate two songs to her, #1 by Bette Midler, "Wind Beneath My Wings", because she is my heroine; and #2 by Paul Young, "Every time You go Away ".
I may have the desire and not be able to meet it, but the love will always be there and will grow stronger every day. |
