It's evident when you look around.
The trees and flowers are budding out,
The colors of Spring are abound.
The birds are once again chirping,
Announcing that Spring is in the air.
There's an awakening going on,
Winter time left nothing in disrepair.
Out comes the lawn furniture,
Clean out the grill to use.
Invite all our friends over,
To shake off those old Winter blues.
Easter time will be here soon,
A true sign that Spring is here.
The season Christians celebrate,
About this time each year.
He has risen, we proclaim,
We celebrate His resurrection.
We know that this is the time of year,
We realize our sense of direction.
Let's not forget our other tradition,
Our children look to each year.
Coloring and hiding their eggs,
And waiting for the Easter Bunny to appear!
Spring is a time to refresh our lives,
Everything is sparkling and new.
There's so much to look forward to,
Not to mention all the cleaning to do!
This Spring as with all others,
We awake with a fresh outlook and find.
That life is fresh and beautiful,
And we find peace of mind..
