Great Divide

I stand upon this rocky mountain
On top of the world, looking down upon creation It’s good to be here
You’re present and you calm my fears
Halett Peak rises, raising her hands to the sky
Praising her Lord, forming the Continental Divide
Lands the rain, pauses to ascertain
The way to drain from on this mountain
Cache La Poudre, or Beaver Creek
The Great Divide performs the great decide of each drop of friend
From Alaska to Cape Horn, a handful are reborn
Choose this day to whom you’ll serve
Jesus, the great divider of life
Walk parallel or      directly across his path
It’s good to be here on this mountain
Though I can’t stay, I’ll walk your way
And when it’s hard, I’ll sing
I lift my eyes up, to the Mountain, where does my help come from?
My help comes from you, Maker of Heaven, Creator of the Earth
Halett Peak rises, raising her hands to the sky
Praising her Lord, forming, forming the Continental Divide
I stand upon this rocky mountain
On top of the world, looking down upon creation
It’s good to be here You’re present and you calm my fears
Walk Down, the Great Divide
