KITCHEN HAPPENINGS
Lunches are now being served again at the club. Food will be served from 11:00 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Saturday. If the kitchen is in use for a function or hall rental lunch will not be available that day. Stop in soon and check out the menu! (A personal note: The soup is great and very reasonably priced)
The kitchen will be closed May 2nd due to the Cinco De Mayo party. It will close at 3:00 May 15th, and will closed all day on the 16th for the pig roast. Also closed for Memorial day weekend, May 22nd thru the 25th. And lastly, on June 13th.
Cheryl and Don thank everyone for their support. Well keep cookin, you keep eating

NEWSLETTER DEADLINE
Any events or news you would like included in the calendar or newsletter should be in my hands by the 10th of the month preceding the next issue. Example, this is the May / June issue. I need any information for the July/August issue by June 10th. My email is [email protected]. Please make the subject newsletter so I know what it is.

Let Steve or myself know what you like or dislike about this newsletter so we can address any issues and make this more to your liking.

It has been suggested that I try a Letter to the Editor column. It sounded good to me. What do you think? Id be looking for
positive commentary only (negative comments can go to Steve). Due to space limitations they would have to be Fairley short and I may have to edit them. They need to written and signed. I can keep your name anonymous if you want, but they need to be signed before I will print them. Drop any comments off at the bar addressed to me, Jim Koch, Attn: Newsletter. Ill get them sooner or later. If you don't like this idea, let me know that also.
WHY ARIZONA DOSEN'T
HAVE DAYLIGHT SAVINGS
TIMES
The state of Arizona listeded to the Wise Old
Indian...(now know as a Native American)

When told the reason for daylight saving
time the old Indian smiled and said,  "Only a
white man would believe that you could cut a
foot off the top of a blanket and sew it to the
bottom of a blanket and have a longer blan-
ket."
GREAT CORNED BEEF DINNER
Thanks to everyone that came out and supported                     us at the annual corned beef dinner. As                       usual the corned beef, the ham, and the                       turkey was excellent. The raffles helped                      support our mission to help the veterans.                     A special thanks to Dennis Deisenroth and                   his crew of volunteers for all the hard
work they did so this could once again be as good as it could be. If you missed out this year try to come out for next years. It was good eats and good times for all.
