| PULASKI DAY CEREMONY |
| The Pulaski Day ceremony was held at Veterans Park in McHenry on Sunday, March 1st. It was followed by a Polish style meal back at the Post hall. There were about eighty people in attendance.
Post members that made up the rifle squad Picture Taken Pulaski Day 2008 are, pictured back to front are, Steve Schutz Jr. Bob Zriny, Bill Richardson, Dan Lisi, Fred Thornton, John Marra and Ralph Thoma, made up the Rifle Squad. The Ladies Auxiliary Color Guard did a fine job, and are pictured l � r; Lorianne Juskiewrcz, Chris Kvale, Gail Weir, Holly Swanson, Jean Nejedly, and Candy Ostrom. |

| McHENRY HOLDS IT�S 1ST St. PATRICK�S DAY PARADE |
| McHenry held it�s first St. Patrick�s Day parade this year. The PLAV was well represented with the Ladies Auxiliary and Post members providing part of the Color Guard along with others from the Combined Veterans . Unfortunately the pictures of the color guard didn�t turn out too well. Below are some of our members that came out to support and / or marched in the parade. The weather was perfect that day, but has been downhill ever since, at least up until now. Will spring ever arrive? |
