Photo Opportunities
All of these are free of charge and fun.
Magic Kingdom: Stop by the Kodak Photo Center near the entrance of Main Street to take pictures with life-size cutouts of popular Disney characters. Popular spots for photos in Magic Kingdom are: Main Street with Cinderella's castle in the background, near Cinderella's castle on the bridge to Tomorrowland, "mock lock stocks" in Liberty Square for unruly visitors and any time you find Disney characters out and about. Have an autograph book handy for character visits.
Epcot: BE SURE to stop in Innoventions and visit the IBM area, where you can stand and have your picture made and email it to anyone for free! Almost any spot in Epcot is a beautiful photo opportunity. Norway features replicas of a Viking ship and a Nordic village, complete with waterfall. Visit the shop to see some "trolls" and maybe try on a Viking helmet. As dusk descends on Epcot, the lights come up and provide some beautiful photo material. Check out the fountain near the entrance and the Earth Sphere at this time of day. You won't want to leave Epcot at night!
MGM is basically one huge photo opportunity, since it is much like a movie set. If you are a Star Wars fan, you may want to snap a picture with the At-At in front of Star Tours or the replica speeder across the sidewalk. There is another set of speeders in the museum at the Backlot Tour. Behind the Chinese Theater, you will find an alley where Winnie the Pooh, Tigger and Eeyore may be hiding and waiting for fans with cameras. The green army men from Toy Story make tours of duty around MGM with their Jeep and there are more character appearances and parades.
Animal Kingdom: Here you will find flora, fauna and wildlife that you will want to capture in photos as well as your family. The walks through Africa, Asia and the Tree of Life areas will provide many pictures of animals. If you visit the Dinosaur ride, save some film or digital camera memory for the huge T Rex skeleton in the entrance foyer.
