| MORE LIFE, TIMES AND ASEXUAL EXPLOITS OF PLANET MORON January 2003 The Sound Board is constructed. Ostensibly a clearing-house for Paul and Woodsey's intense views on controversial subject matter, it ends up carrying only three essays. One of which is about Gamesmaster captions. All by Woodsey. February 2003 Woodsey thinks Paul has gone missing. Hopes for the worst. March 2003 Front page evolves to carry a monthly picture. Early pictures include the 24 logo and Suzi Perry of Superbikes fame. Paul has no hand in this whatsoever. For instance, PM's last ever front page picture was of a bewildering 'Dino-man' (In fact, there is no 'Dino-man', it was all an elaborate hoax started by a small child in Doncaster). April 2003 Paul returns for Easter holidays. Woodsey feels a little awkward, having already bought the headstone. Their friendship begins to crumble. Like Morrissey and Marr. Paul is Marr. May 2003 Woodsey initiates a brand new link on the front page for his preferred contemporary websites. Paul, eager to join, doesn't. December 2003 PM's last ever Christmas. Woodsey becomes rowdy at the Christmas party meal and tells Paul exactly what he thinks of him. Paul cries, he never wanted this. January 2004 Subsequent relations between Paul and Woodsey become increasingly and understandably strained. Ed is quoted as overhearing the following exchange through the walls of the PM office: PAUL: Well, why don't we ("trucking" - Ed) end PLANET MORON?!? Where would you be then?!? Eh?!? WOODSEY: What have we become? We are a mere shadow of our former selves... February 2004 A single pea is flicked at Paul's bedroom window by a mysterious assailant. Paul later reveals in a press statement: "Woodsey won't own up to it. But it was definitely him. I don't need this." March 2004 A car is driven into Woodsey's front room by a mysterious assailant. Woodsey later reveals in a press statement: "I first thought it was a Socialist because it was a Volkswagen. Then I saw Paul climb out and run off. He's just unpleasant. I don't need this. Neither does PLANET MORON." April 2004 It is announced that, due to an increasingly violent artistic difference between Paul and Woodsey, that they should part company and PM should 'cease to be'. Ed plants a tender kiss on Paul's cheek, then goes for Woodsey's lips. Woodsey is having none of it. May 2004 PLANET MORON is over. The waters cool. |
